Y’all were far too critical of Shaw quarterman when he played here, I wish we had a linebacker be a playmaker like he was…. Tired of not having a play maker at linebacker. Flagg needs to go. We need to try steed at mlb, he plays faster and make more plays
I remember posting “ y’all gonna miss him when he’s gone”. That guy cleaned up so much bs that nobody even noticed. There would’ve been multiple big plays a game that he put perfume over. We saw what happened the year after he left. Dude was a really good college mike.

Always hear he was a great leader too

On another, totally separate note;

I sure hope we get back to normalcy from that Covid yr & these “Super Seniors”. Can we get back to 3 - 4 yrs & done? No more than 5 & done w/ a RS yr. Throwing off the whole rotation.
Agree 100%...Ive been screaming this since the summer multiple times... All this 6th year Sr stuff needs to be considered a privelage and not a right anymore at least in our program. We got way too many 6th year guys who could potentially be hanging around (especially next year) that do nothing to help the team and taking away reps and PT from younger guys. If your not a legit starter or "first man off bench" type guy as a 6th year Sr..then we should just sign off on grad transfer papers and tell them to look elsewhere come February. If your not helping us win this season in a legit capacity as a 5th year Sr, than there is no reason for you to be "rewarded" a 6th year. JMO.
These 6th year super super seniors are a dark reminder that we have not been able to develop any level of talent or recruit the level of talent we need in the multiple positions that they play/ have played.

Aww shít here it comes, Flagg getting yall to reimagine Shaq lmao. It's like clockwork every year. Being better than Flagg is an awfully low bar to set let's not pretend like he was an All American.

I remember when they took him out vs lsu cause manure rotated too much and lsu breaks a long touchdown run

We’ve been really spoiled over the years at mike. We’ve been humbled big time since Shaq left.

No, but he was first team All-Conference two years in a row. He was a very good college player playing in a lousy system that left him more exposed than he should have been.

Agree he was good but he was still a step down from what we were accustomed to. If it were one vs the other I would certainly prefer Shaq but I don't want another Shaq.

Shaq made Manny's defense look good for a few years. Once he and Pickney left, our defense took a nose dive.

I wish they got to play in Steele's defense.

He was All Acc and a helluva of a college LB, while playing in a crap scheme, especially for that position. Don’t be a ****head and poo poo him as a player because you have a hard on for Flagg. I’d love to have the player and leader of a SQ every year in this program.

He was a slightly bigger slightly faster Flagg. That isn't good enough he was a 5th round draft pick I'm not gonna pretend he was an all time great. I said he was a good player that is not poo poo. You have your eyes I have mine.

Shaq has been collecting NFL checks for years now. And he was a 4th round pick, by the way. You know what percentage of college football players spend at least 3 years in the NFL? It's very, very small.

What point are you making exactly? Did I say Shaq was dog****? He was the 44th pick in the 4th round sorry i didn't account for compensation picks but their are only 32 teams.

So is it… Shaq was so great or that everything we’ve had since is so far from what we’re used to that Shaq’s praise gets heightened?

We’re used to having outstanding LB play. 1st rounder type talent. Shaq was good… he wasn’t trash. But he wasn’t a world beater to me. He is better than anyone who’s come after him though.

@Cribby Not gone like this lmao maybe you phrased it eloquently enough for his liking.
