We need difference makers

He seems like it. The same **** comes out of his mouth every week.
No shying away from it
Taking it head on
Elite humans
No sugar coating
Back to work
No compromise

He will sell the absolute **** out of this game to recruits which is a positive and hopefully he falls into a Coker type team where it doesn’t matter who’s the coach.

Imagine how good we could be with you top 3 kid. Look we only lost by 7 with this team.

This is a huge win for Mario. Lmao

We got enough ambassadors. How about some mfs that can catch and run? Props to Jacolby btw.
Agree. He’s fine as a slot, #4 receiver. You need guys like him in the team especially for depth.

I had that we don’t have any depth anywhere, except O-line.

Yes, because Jacolby George quite literally had these plays all game ans Colbie Young did what Coleman and Wilson did all game: win jump balls.

We have B Smith and don't give him the ball. We have Ray Ray and we don't give him the ball. We have CJ and let him play one snap vs UNC and don't play him again after. We have Skinner and play Fletcher over him as a slot receiver. Imagine having one of the most explosive kick returners in the country and he has one touch vs NC State.

We have players. We're running a caveman system trying to get them the ball. And it's Mario's doing... bro.

What a difference two weeks makes. I posted a thread that TD has been terrible, but he hast to throw into a lot of tight windows a lot of times. Got roasted for it.

We don’t have anyone remotely resembling a guy like Coleman on our roster.
You're right. WR aren't good. Emory couldn't hit them , with few exceptions. Even the TV commentators talked about how they were always covered.

Restrepo had a tough night. But a couple of those passes were just bad throws.

It's frustrating because just a LITTLE creative playcalling would have made a HUGE difference

If a team runs Cover 2 Man against you all game they do not respect your wideouts. FSU secondary is not world beaters eithers which makes it so disrespectful. They said we not even going to play zone we just going to man up and shut your passing game down.

Many of the things said in this thread have been said all year or earlier…

The sayers of such things were called: “Mopes”

And here we are… it sucks to lose to FSU, it is worse when you know your team is out coached…

The end of the first half and beginning of the second on offense is worse than 4th and 17…
Exactly!

You had to score TDs vs FSU early. Malpractice play calling in the near half time situation and especially after FSU gives you a gift in terms of field position and you do nothing but a ****** FG with conservative play calls.

FSU wasn’t scared if they didn’t get the onside because our offense is terrible.

You want to really get mad at Mario for something, get mad about how our offensive line played. If that's going to be your bread and butter, at least be dominant with it.

They had like 6 false starts, and nobody on offense could pick up a blitz to save their life. Furthermore, how many third and short, fourth and short did we get straight stonewalled on? If we were going to win this game, we needed to be able to lean on that line and yet at best they were servicable in this game.
Our RBs were running straight into the backs of our oline as well. Fletcher’s vision is limited.

On offense. From Qb, rb, on down to wr. We have to nickel and dime the ball down field because our wr’s rarely get any separation. If the plan is to run this vanilla , , unimaginative , caveman offense we’ll be needing explosive , dynamic athletes all over the field. To turn short catches into explosive plays.

You know that tingling feeling you get in your balls when Coleman ,Benson and other skill guys get in space ? That’s how you know they’re difference makers. You hold your breath when they touch it.

Lastly go get me a ******* qb that can run and pass like the rest of college football. We continue to be stuck in the past.
Was on the phone with a client or I would have posted this first. Agree on all counts.

There's a notable absence of top end here.

Fletcher is OK but he’s no Frank Gore or Willis McGahee.

Does South Florida not produce talents like that anymore? Even a Duke Johnson or Lamar Miller would do great things for this offense but I haven’t seen anyone even of that level come out of South Florida in a while
