We ARE. Penn.....Miami?

Love my Canes but being a Pa guy, the atmosphere at those white out games are beyond amazing. Still dislike them, other than family friends' kids who have played or are now playing for them.
I think one of the notable Miami victories there was at the white out when they honored the kid who was injured. Returned to PA after 45 years in Massachusetts. I like to tell all the fans down here that, when I was growing up, Penn State was everybody's safety school.

Seriously tho. Last time they did this I wore my white coaches polo and white hat and drank a case of Miller Lite pint cans in the parking lot before the game. I had the BBQ joint by my section and puked my brains out after the game. Ruined my coaches polo and hat. :(

Man, ya'll will really find a way to complain about anything.
Our fanbase manages to provide little of value and be annoying at the same time. School tries to do something, fans whine. School does nothing, fans whine. It’s almost like a lot of our fans actively hate the school and just want to complain.

It isn’t that difficult to show up in white, but you know our cheap *** fans will find a way to make it look like a clusterf**k.

Exactly

Meh. Not a fan. I guess they want to sell that white merch and realize this probably ain't gonna be a night game now with the Sons of Clem sucking.

I lived in PA for many, many years, and worked up by PSU. All of their games are an amazing atmosphere, because there ain't **** else to do!

*side note, my Brother got married on campus up there, he's a PSU Grad, and I got a pic of me beside the giant nittany lion with one of my Canes hats on it's head. **** psu!

It makes sense to do a white out vs. Clemson as they wear one of our primary colors (orange).

Of course they do this to sell merch. Walk around Hard Rock before a game, you will see people rocking jerseys they bought 20 years ago. We have a pathetically cheap fanbase, and it’s beyond annoying to hear people whine about the school trying to do something that requires little effort. If you don’t have a white UMiami shirt(Which is weird in itself), rock a white tee or take your *** out and buy a **** shirt. Amazing how the school asking you to maybe drop 30 bucks for a shirt is such an imposition but you expect the school to drop hundreds of millions of dollars to have a world class program.

Just a lot of stupid comments in this thread.

First of all, probably the primary reason for fans wearing white in the stands is because orange is the primary color for Clemson, as has already been mentioned. It’s been done before, versus Florida in 2013.

Some of you saying it won’t work, or it’ll look bad. Here’s some visual evidence. It doesn’t look bad, and keep in mind, this was about 30 minutes before kick off. The stands were full by kickoff, and I was there.

I’ll be there for the Clemson game, wearing white. Unlike most of you that are complaining and won’t even be there at all.
