Still boggles the mind those dudes beat that squadron…The traditional powers look beatable, and it looks like Tyler's recovered from the worst OC in program history - so I understand the sentiment. Why not? Cue Al Michaels...

And lost to NIU the week before. That was a ranked BC team that won a bowl. Not a bottom feeder that barely scraped by Holy Cross last week like current BC.
Well, the first thing that comes to mind is “god ******* **** it, you ******** can’t help yourselves can you?” But after that I’m thinking that you may be right, but it’s way too soon.I know the first thing that will come to mind is that this is an overreaction or it's too soon. That's fine and understandable. I bet games every week and watch as many as I can. Nobody on our schedule looks better than we have so far. The FSU team that played in Boston college today will get stomped. Yeah, they had a bad game, but they're not close to what they're being built up to be. They beat an overrated LSU team after a strong finish last season and got way too much credit in the rankings.
It's not just our remaining schedule that has me thinking this way. We are elite at quarterback, offensive line, and coaching. Plenty of teams have won it all with just a strong combo of those three...with less talented and weaker defenses than what we are currently fielding.
The perennial powers aren't looking nearly as strong as they have for the last 10 years. I think we have the best combination of quarterback, OL and scheme...and our defense is nothing to be laughed at and will keep getting better as we get healthier.
I expect a lot of negative feedback for this and could really care less. 25% of the season in, I can confidently say that we have turned the corner and can beat anybody in the country.
Your first sentence says it all. We are not beating UNC and probably losing to FSU as well. No way a 2 loss (minimum) ACC team makes the playoff.
We are not beating Clemson or UNC. So that’s 2. The other 2 are FSU and A&M. As long as Mario doesn’t throw a **** in any of the other games 8 wins is very attainable this season. 9 wins if he can somehow go 1-1 against A&M and FSU.
Let’s beat UNC And FSUI know the first thing that will come to mind is that this is an overreaction or it's too soon. That's fine and understandable. Keep your *** away from the pre game pep talk.Your first sentence says it all. We are not beating UNC and probably losing to FSU as well. No way a 2 loss (minimum) ACC team makes the playoff.
The only thing is our DL is weak in the middle imo but I can see us as a playoff contender.I know the first thing that will come to mind is that this is an overreaction or it's too soon. USC defense is still a smelly pile of ****Might be Texas and usc battling it out.
Let’s beat UNC And FSU
And then evaluate
I agree 100%. The crazy thing is I actually agree with the OP. I also feel this team has all the pieces to be a playoff contender, but I don’t want the team to feel that way. I’m kinda enjoying this whole “flying under the radar” thing because they’re playing with a chip on their shoulder and they feel disrespected. I don’t want us to start looking ahead or feeling ourselves too much. Let’s just keep doing what we’re doing.I love the excitement, but I have been enjoying this one game at a time thing.. let's just enjoy each game as it comes and let the cards fall where they may. #GoCanes
