Vegas thinks Golden is Gone after This Season

the fake Canes fans on this site are going FULL ******* ****** :ibisroflmao:

I like you bro but let me ask you honestly.....

You think AG is the man for this job? Really? After watching this team for the last 3 years you really deep down in your orange and green heart believe it?

I don't. There are millions of things I could point to as reasons but the one that really stands out is the attitude of our starting QB last season and the comments he made about basically not giving a fvck.

What did the corching staff do about it? Nada. Any one of our 4 legendary coaches would have dummped that dude right then and there. Even Erickson would have benched him. But Dorito Golden...nope...just kept heaping praise on the kid like he was in the running for the Heisman or something...it was ******* disgusting.

Be honest.
a few thing about miami, because i can only speak for myself, that I think. i think continuity is as important right now to our future success on the field, as other things people talk about. i think the ncaa and randy's legacy were more detrimental than some are willing to admit. i know Al is here for at least two more years and thats a reality that i can't control. i know Donna is more responsible for the state of the program over the last decade than larry, randy and al. I know we are much more talented going forward on the field for the next three seasons, than the last three. i have seen this here at miami before and i'm not ready to make a final decision on al. i'll know in two year. right now i think the jury is still out.

Fair enough. I agree that the admin has been the biggest problem and in my opinion Dorito Golden is simply a symptom.

Last year really took a toll on my faith in this staff.

The team has never looked better at the end of the season compared to the beginning with these coaches for 3 consecutive years now..
The defense has been horrific at best.
There is zero killer instinct from a team-wide standpoint and it shows come gameday.
3 years in and the 2 most important positions on the team are still the biggest question marks.
Don't even get me started on the snickers thing.

I know we are stuck with this for the foreseeable future but I'm not happy. I refuse to just shut up and be force fed without btiching about it every step of the way. I do understand where you are coming from though.

Admitting to being a mope is a step in a positive direction. Proud of you.

Obviously you don't understand betting. 7.5 -160 means that they expect UM to at least win 8. It's called the vig. but go ahead and assume otherwise

That's King Mope to you, ya pigeon.

Nice exchange between Dynasty and Boarcane right here. Excellent points on both sides. Personally I question Golden's ability to make adjustments in the flow of the game to counter what our opponents are doing, but I agree that our administration has pussified our program to the point that at times it's utterly unrecognizable from its former aggressive glory, and here I'm not talking about silly on-field antics - I'm talking about an overall - "we'll kick your *** for real" attitude that is sorely missing and has been for a long long time. Football is a bully sport and we're the good guys now. Hurts.

This!!! This this this!! Take a read through this article to refresh your memory about how dirty Butch did Miami: http://si.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1021742/1/index.htm

How exactly did Davis do Miami dirty? Dee should have paid him.

I loved this gem of Coker taking over "He inherits a program that bears no resemblance to the mess that Davis took over; instead, it has as much talent as any in the country."

Butch blatantly lied to players, whom many considered a father figure and looked up to, about staying and kept the lies going even tho he had one foot out the door to Cleveland. He left Miami high and dry weeks before signing day. He preached loyalty to his players and then turned his back on them. Was Paul Dee acting like a douche during contract negotiations? Yes, but Dee was a douche most of the time. Butch would've eventually gone to league with his continued success at Miami he got the offer from Cleveland and used Dee's crappy, hard nosed negotiation tactics as an excuse to bounce. Miami should've negotiated differently but Butch flat out lied to people who would've laid down in front of a bus for him! It sucks the way it went down, especially with the end result because something special was just getting started!!

Stop with the stupid schit please. Just...stop.

That is not even close to how it actually went down. If you want to rip Butch for his game day coaching while he was here fine...but this post is just gaay.

My bad, I should've checked the shrine you've dedicated to Butch on your profile with the gif and slogan and realized you couldn't have unbiased conversation about him. Answer me this tho, is it hard to see your computer screen with Butch's 8===D smacking you in the face? Get his ***** outta your eyes and see things a little more clearly!

It's hard to ignore your ignorance on the matter of Butch. You obviously are young and have no fcuking memory of just a few years ago - otherwise - you wouldn't respond with such . . . stupidity. On the matter.

I get it - I heard Golden had a nephew here at the U, and you take all this personal.

Tough.

The fake PTSD is shining through. Unless you give to UM your **** *** cries will go unanswered.

PTSD? Path To Sihtcan D'Onofrio? Proposal To Sihtcan D'Onofrio? Coach D goes, Golden goes. They're buddies.

I'm not giving UM diddly squat. In fact, I've heard several mention they're pulling all their contributions, including season tickets. Until UM gets this coaching business straightened out.

Louder and louder will be the outrage after Louisville. I won't have to be personally heard.

How much is his buyout? That alone might buy him a few more seasons of mediocrity before the administration feels compelled to take action.

Your broke *** crying like a ****** on a message board changes what? You don't even matter. Stop crying it's embarrassing.

Past sad weeks ago, pathetic is more the word.
Needs to take a Midol and STFU.

You need to suck down a tube of Vagisil and STFU if you can't acknowledge that something is very, very wrong with this coaching staff. Vegas has.

I'm not the one crying. You crying because what? You don't want to hear it?

We're picked by Vegas to likely win 8 games. Maybe 9. Maybe 7, but you'd think that with the CLOUD gone, and some pretty good talent on the team, and three frikkin' years of the same coach, they'd pick us to win more than 8 games. You know, move the line upwards?

This is year 4. ****, if we had Petrino here for 3 seasons, we'd be hanging 60+ points on our opponents and terrorizing college football again. As it is, we'll be lucky if Petrino doesn't hang 40+ on us with D'Onofrio's defense. (Due entirely to him breaking in a new QB)

We'll see. They have a new QB, but so do we. They MIGHT have a defense - but past experience tells us we won't.

That's not crying - that's reality.

We get it douche you don't like Golden. So what are you gonna do if he sticks around? Stop watching the games on TV? Not buy that $10 T-shirt? Like i said you don't fcking matter broke ***.

What do you give a siht for, you deaf, dumb, blind pinnacle of mediocrity?

Losers love losers. I never could understand you guys.

See Far what you're to immature to grasp is that no one is questioning the fact that there are issues, but your incessant need to attention *****, "look at me" hijacking of every thread to regurgitate the same stance is what makes you actually, not an *******, just sad.

I understand, you were likely home schooled, and momma always taught you that your opinion was the only one that counts, and everyone else who may disagree with you are to be automatically relegated to ******* status, and told to shut up. Well, you can tell momma I said KMA.

Instead of arguing your point with football talk, every single F.A.G. *** has to resort to personal attacks. Hey, I don't mind at all, but just understand, once you get it rolling, then we all get to roll.

There's no attention-getting intended. If someone pointing out the glaring negatives to Golden and his star Coordinator seems to get YOUR attention, don't take it so personal.

There's no telling how you would have turned out if you'd just gotten some oxygen at birth.

If someone points them out over and over and over and over and over. We have ******* eyes and see the same god **** thing. We just aren't little ******* like you about it. Trust me, if it's the same product on the field with 6 or 7 wins people will be calling for him to be fired. He's not going to get fired before the season starts so your ****ing and moaning is pointless.

Hey, I've been saying the same thing for 2.8 years. But so many, even here, don't see the same thing, and instead prefer to craft another pseudo-reality. I'm just the splash of cold water in the face upon waking up.

It's the little &!+(#=$ that whine when some of us disagree with them. You guys would have fit right in with the Reverand Jim Jones, believed he was the real deal, right up until you were FORCED to drink the cool aid. Hey, that Golden is it! He's turning the program around. He's not even gotten started because of the cloud. He was given some sorry-assed talent. He needs time to put his team together.

Yes, sir. I'm sure the folks that followed Jim Jones to their destruction were cheering his misrepresenting *** too. So if I spoke out and pointed out the very real problems with the Reverand Jim Jones, or that David Koresh, or any other pretender, you'd consider that a little beitch? That's because you have a poor vocabulary, stunted by too much concern over being stuck with a nanophallus.

If you don't want to hear what I have to say, it's a real complicated process - but - don't read my posts! Problem solved.

It's real hard for folks like you to see the big picture with your tiny screens. But that's your problem. Not mine.

You've been saying the same thing over and over, and we keep winning more and more. Must be killing you, huh?

We all want to win championships, but we all have to be realistic. Recruiting is a free for all right now. Golden lost a ton of points by not being able to close well last year, for whatever reason that was. He will now continue to be held fully accountable in recruiting. I'm not expecting him to win an NCAA championship this year. I'm not expecting him to win the ACC. But I am expecting him to win the Coastal. And if we go 11-2 and get blown out by FSU, and again in the ACCCG, I can guaran-*******-tee that you guys will still be all over him. But in reality, we aren't better than FSU. It's a miracle we kept that game so close for so long last year. I'm optimistic we can beat the remaining teams on our schedule. I believe a lot of that hinges on the health of Ryan Williams, but our team is strong enough to compensate for a younger guy as well.

You don't get it. I was hoping Golden was the guy. I questioned his credentials, but I remember when JJ was hired, and there was a lot of questions about JJ. And JJ had a hard first year at UM.

But after the first few games under Golden, you don't have to be very smart to see that the team was very poorly prepared, very poorly schemed, and were playing flat. I think there was stunned disbelief in watching our defense. Not once. But every damned game. Including our very last game against UL.

A lot of times when we won against FSU, we weren't better than FSU, but rather we were well prepared and just outplayed them.

Pedigree. Golden's pedigree comes from old and slow PSU grind-it-out-slow-assed-big-and-deliberate pedigree of Joe Paterno. Who wasn't that successful at the National Championship level, even though he really had a lock on many NE recruting regions.

This is different football down South. We actually have the forward pass, something Paterno wasn't a fan of. We have speed, and ****. Neither Golden nor D'Onofrio have a clue as to what to do with it. Recall Cristobal leaving so soon? Gee. Think he saw the handwriting and decided he didn't want any part of this crap?

Every year Golden stays, is one more year removed from getting back to being an annual top five NC contender.
