if i am golden... i am making sure all the big recruits that we have locally are there this weekend trying to convince TV to stay. they should have more influence than the coaches at this point

I think his mom will have final say and convince him Miami is the place to be, where the family can watch him play.

He would get more respect if he just says "I like LSU better than Miami right now"

So how do you make Galliard feel just as wanted as TV?
 
I understand these are just kids.

BUT I HATE NOTHING MORE THAN ENTITLED KIDS no matter the circumstance (cars, iphones, football).

These coaches work hard and showing them some respect instead of asking for more every time they get a chance would be good thing to do.

At what point do we as fans stop feeding this nonsense?

I am cool with decisions even if they end up not at UM but I am not cool with the sense of entitlement that some kids have.

Some misses are hard to swallow but if they are handled well by the player I am cool understanding that it is their life after all.

I think it's a case of he's been on campus unofficially. LSU no doubt rolled out the red carpet and made him feel special.

Coral Gables probably feels pretty normal to him at this point. We have to make him feel like he's the most important recruit in this class to have a shot at flipping him. Red carpet, sorority girls, 5 star restaurant - the works.

Miami has 2 show me something ... aka show me the money.... we just need to close the book on this valentine kid I wish him the best at lsu ... this recruiting game is dirty
 
I just do not understand what he wants Miami to show him. In fact, I don't think he even knows what he wants. Sounds like he is gone to me and this is a courtesy visit. Hope I'm wrong.

Entitled or not, kids like Valentine wins rings. We need to get over ourselves and close the deal.

Interview sounds completely like a guy who has made up his mind, but wants to tell us "no" in a non-dissing way.
 
On a broader issue, it sure sounds like there are some issues between the staff and Champagnat. The comment by the HC about how UM recruits there, was very telling. Would love to hear from someone in the know just what the deal with that program is. Sure seems like a strange operation there.
