I don’t give a **** about FSU until they play us. I want to beat the dog **** out of them every time we play them. As far as anything else is concerned, Beat FSU and win the Coastal. You can’t get to the conference championship game if you don’t first win your division, and ****** Tech beginning the season with a conference loss gets us closer to that goal. We beat FSU when we play them and consistently contend for a conference championship and a spot in the playoffs and recruiting will take care of itself.

I want us to kick their a**es every year. Winning will definitely help with recruiting against both the semenholes and gayturds. That 7 year stretch that ended last year was painful. Although I do respect the fact that Bowden continued to play us when he didn't have to and probably wins a couple more nattys if not for us.

If it were up to me, it’s not, UF would win the SEC every year while losing to FSU at the end of the year, and FSU would lose at least twice to Miami until the year they made it into the CFP with 2-losses and they lose to Miami for the third time in the same season.

Well... I'm one that doesn't hold grudges so I'm going to forget whatever you said/done previously.
With that said I have to say that I completely agree with your post. I do not see the Noles as a problem, rather a love/hate relationship that has endured. We can't prevent anybody from recruiting S.FL... it's a never ending battle that we need to deal with by doing our best countering stuff and hire top notch recruiters. My dream every pre-season is that the U will rise again.

You don't have to qualify your talented FSU take so much imo. Most of their great teams were built on a lot of S.FL talent it's no surprise they had good teams. It's a huge driving force behind the rivalry. And they are the only team to never ***** out and not play us, I'll always give them that.

You are also absolutely correct that no other team has a claim in actually competing with Miami in any relative consistent basis besides them. Without 88 phantom fumble ND couldn't say anything, and UF had to go to God himself with Tebow to beat us ONCE in 30 years The irony is that we actually kind of respect FSU in some ways, but they show such little respect to us (never have really), so that's why we had to take their championships from them.
 
Jimmy Johnson before every game as he studied there opponent would compare his players per position to there’s and see who would start over the other.

Then he had a pretty good idea of what he was facing.

I know this has nothing to do with OP thread but figured it was the best place to put this thought that came over me .

VT rarely gets crushed with their Defense. I do see the Noles winning this game though. As much as I hate FSU, it would benefit Miami If FSU wins this game.

I wish I shared your optimism. I’m not confident Miami can beat VT on the road at night especially if the Coastal is on the line.

Well sport... spare me the lecture especially after I tough I was initiating a gesture of good will. And further more... my post was addressing a football issue where I agreed with you and a thumbs-up. Perception is key and if you think that my post was "All that production" and "you didn't even own that YOU were the causing problems?"... then let me retract my olive branch and you go on being yourself because obviously there's no middle ground here.

It really is crazy to see the way some posters disagree with others on here, and sometimes to the extreme of talking trash/threats etc. That includes myself except I've never made threats, but every game I go to, when I see my fellow diehard canes all I want to do is buy you a beer.... Man the internet is a **** of a thing.

Fock that!!! I don’t care if they’re a bad FSU/UF team! Specially FSU winning 8 in a row while we were down and they act like @ssh0les throwing it in our faces. Fock that!!! I hope they go 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 then Willie has an 9-3 regular season and gets an extension for 3more years 🤣
