Yup, those in fairness Fedora did not have this in his pre-2017 contract. I couldn't find it was in his contract extension that he signed in 2017. Either way, Miami isn't paying him $1 lol.

He is definitely qualified. Coached under some seriously innovative OC's, and has had great success calling plays on his own.

The procsss to substantiate is usually determined by using empirical data for similar positions at similar programs / companies within a certain standard deviation. If it does not, UNC could litigate for the delta. This is a very well worn path with enormous case precendenf in employment law.

If you’re correct about the terms of the remainder of the UNC/Fedora contract, depending on the language, $1 is nominal enough for UNC to just assign a fair market value and pay him the difference. Essentially they could give him like 600k and he’d sue for the reamining 1.8/year and UNC would enjoin UM.

Essentially if we gave Fedora a $1 salary we’d be letting UNC dictate his salary as our OC.
