I can’t see them saving more than 1-2 spots for 2020 vs taking some quality portal kid now. That said, I’m thinking we sign 25-27 max in 2020. We can’t have too many departures or we will be under 85 in 2020. If we stick to the average of 7-8 per year plus the seniors, we should be dang close.

Moo
He’s a troubled kid because he posted a lion king gif? Wtf...
He's Jason Geathers 2.0. And that's not a slight.

Jason Geathers was an all-world recruit who, when used correctly, was a beast.
IMO,He's a much better talent than Geathers was.Geathers was slow as ****,we saw him as a SR get hawked down when he was running free I believe it was against Pitt.

Geathers had one of the great high school recruiting highlight tapes(and yeah, I bought them all from Canesport, lol) I had ever seen. I woulda swore he was Eric ****erson 2.0.

One thing he lacked to truly succeed at the college level was high-end speed, we know LL has that

Hill is officially in & will be ready for Fall camp day 1 starting tomorrow.

Bolden, Huff & Phillips will be in within the next 2 weeks, unfortunately can't control the dates of these extra courses & Juco classes that take fckin forever to finish lol.

I know that's not going to stop yall from panicking because Canes fans are incapable of not panicking, but all 3 will be in & Bolden/Huff will good to go for the season.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming.
D confirmed that Bolden has the playbook so that should hopefully give him a head start.

I don't see CJ spiller at all in Lingard. Cj had much more wiggle (to me) than Lingard does. My comparison was always Todd Gurley, a 1 cut down hill guy. Ppl must stop with the whole weight means you're slower way of thinking. If its good weight and added strength he wont lose any speed.

Lingard is Eddie George with much better speed.

And I forgot Spicer ^^...So 80 including the 4 we are waiting on (fingers crossed)

So with Crispan Atkins, Asa Martin and Wilder we would have been at 83. I vaguely remember Manny saying he had room for one more GT if a decent option came available along the OL, so we are only 1-2 away for both caps of 85 total and 25 a class. Given where he started in January, I cannot imagine a better recovery than what Manny's staff has achieved.

We'll probably lose 2-3 coming out of Fall camp, it almost always happens once the depth charts shake out. But if we go into UF with 77+, and the depth of talent levels better than they've been since the early Coker years, that's a smashing success.

From a recruiting perspective, we'll definitely have room for a full class of 25 plus a EEs for the remaining spots in the 2019 class. So I'm expecting 27-28 depending on if we have 2 or 3 available counters in the 2019 class.

Tommy Kennedy's lack of success at Miami reinforces my point by providing a stark contract with Osborn. Unlike Kennedy, Osborn has come in and impressed: in work outs, in scrimmages and the spring game, in team meetings, everywhere. If we were raving about all of the transfers, that would call into question whether we're just inflating our guys. But Osborn has distinguished himself.

There is a question as to how his game will translate, sure, but it's not "absolutely no idea". That's hyperbole. On the other hand, we have "absolutely no idea" how Hightower will develop. All of the hype around him is due to 1 single garbage time TD in week 1. With Osborn, we have a pretty good idea that he'll be at least a competent, 400+ yard type of receiver.
400 is low.... lol KJ is definitely going to be a top 5-7 wr in our conference this season.
