I don’t care if they bring in @franchise as a coach however if the administration don’t give them the resources doesn’t matter! Stop with the cheap crap spend money!

David Feeley is the head strength and condition coach of Temple University’s football team and he loves Rocky. Inspired by Sly Stallone’s unlikely 1976 classic, Feeley tossed on a Balboa-esque fedora and put his Owls through a special workout on Wednesday in tribute of the beloved boxing movie franchise.

Fedora comin'....

I like where you are coming from

For everyone caterwauling over the S&C hire, or any hire on Diaz's staff, if you don't agree, then blame Manolo.

I will say this, do you really think he (or any HC for that matter) makes a hire saying, "this will be an utter f[]cking disaster, so awesome when this gets me fired!"

Think about it. Fine to disagree with the talent brought on board, but not super well thought through when the program is accused of making a suboptimal hire ON PURPOSE.

I got no choice but to give Manny the benefit of the doubt, but in comparison to other S&C guys, that’s the equivalent of a McDonalds or Burger King resume, if I ever saw one.

His resume looks like your standard Equinox trainer Resume.

Im no S&C gurú, but Im concerned about this hire. I’ve got to keep it 100

Something interesting I've noticed with his stops around the NCAA is he's always "known a guy"

I don't know if that's good or bad.

I don’t think it’s on purpose. I think this program is cheap as all ****.

Couldn’t afford a decent coach, so we go dumpster diving as usual.

Why does any coach hired by the University of Miami deserve the benefit of the doubt? Every single one of them has been garbage since the 90’s

Stefan, are you sure about this one? ;)
this one is confirmed by university. its done deal and according to football staff scoop people he is well regarded in the s&c community and 2 former coaches worked with him said is best they ever worked with

Dumbest thing I have read today. He kept the 3 best coaches on staff and that is a reason NOT to trust him LOL.
and people in the s&c business love him. 2 coaches worked with him say best they ever worked with but somehow he is bad hire because isn't the rock who by the way we cant afford and no one can and isn't a legit s&c guy but probably same guys think swasey was good at his job because players liked him

Only a true moron would act like they know if this hire is good or not. There isn't a single one on this board who spends time every day following S&C programs. Just isn't . Because this guy doesn't make nut job youtube videos you don't like him. Pay no attention to the fact that Temple has been the best they have ever been the last 5 years. But again I have no idea if this a good hire. Have loved everything Diaz has done so far that I CAN judge so I will trust this hire .

Explain to me how you would “see” an upgrade other than name power of schools? I’m curious.
Somebody that has a track record of world class results at a major program, or someone who has worked under someone with that experience. Explain to me how you would see an upgrade.

So your default is just to trash whoever the hire is?

As i've said, a lot of posters just want to be miserable. Your transferring your anger over recruiting to a S&C coach who you know nothing about

The way we r recruiting and for the 2020 class will be a disaster im not sure there gping to give this guy anything to work with

Everything is a disaster to you.

Yea, things aren't great right now, but what would you suggest? Other than bltching 24/7 on a message board. Or is that the solution?

so hiring Bama's guy or one of his assistants?

I guess we would have never had Tommy Moffit had we insisted on your criteria
