Tutu Atwell

I see a muffed punt with 10 minutes left in the third after they got a stop and had a little momentum going that basically ended the game.

LOL, that's like saying because Sean Taylor muffed a punt vs Tennessee in 03' that He couldn't play for FSU or some $h!t.

Or we should've benched Santana Moss because He muffed a punt vs UW in 2K.

Now do any of those examples make sense?...see how stupid AF you sound?...now slap yourself...LOL

Look, there's no winning for the staff. If they concentrate on under the radar kids they get blasted for giving up on top guys. If they go after top guys they get this about not showing the 3* kids love. Miss on the top guys and you should have kept communication open with 3* guys. Keep communication open, and you're stringing them along. Even when you get the top guys you wanted, there's always a kid who was under-recruited who balls out elsewhere and fans say the staff is so stupid for not going after them. No matter what they do there is always a complaint.

And it's not about this staff, this has been going on since long before I started paying attention.
JUST WIN BABY.

I get the skepticism & it might not always be kids without power 5 offers but plenty of recruits who don't get Big 3 attention are pointed out as mistakes by posters. Dozens & dozens of Skai Moore, Quinton Flowers, Giovani Bernard types over the years.
Bernard got attention he just wanted to go to UNC. That’s what I thought. They were selling him as their version of CJ Spiller.

And like you don't seem to understand, I am saying the inherent recruiting advantage of being local is not what it used to be. Being within a stones throw of 500 recruits doesn't actually allocate too much more time to them individually especially when a lot of evaluation, recruiting, and contact has become digital, and when playing for Miami doesn't have the allure that it did 20 years ago.

It doesn't matter where he ended up balling out. Louisville cleans up the south Florida scraps, he is no more a miss for us than Florida state, Florida, or any other host of superior-to-louisville programs that watched Miami northwestern play while he was there. This is only a problem for some local guys who are personally invested emotionally in this kid.
The point of my argument is there is a problem with that. I guess you are saying it’s not a problem. But to each it’s own go canes.

"Kids like this"..........as though the dude is getting invited to the Heisman ceremony.
He caught one pass for a long play on a defensive breakdown. All of the sudden the kids the second coming of Aldarius Johnson. When they showed his close up he looked as big as Jacory's right leg...

Maybe I am misremembering. I was thinking that's the class we went after Eduardo Clements & another kid. Bryce Brown, maybe? I'm old.

Your examples are... well...let's just say they're slightly off the mark.
All American players in otherwise fantastic individual seasons.

Speaking of Santana, remember the quote "Big time players..."
Check out Atwells stats vs. ND and Clemson and along with his stats after we gave him a little more attention.
Those players you mentioned didn't disappear in big moments.

One more thing. Can Atwell make someone miss, just once, like Santana did?

That's it.
You love the guy and his straight line speed and 5 TD's against p5 comp.
I don't.

Now go get your shinebox.

knew Bernard quite well in hs, he was initially committed to ND and was set on going there. Then the coaching change happened in South Bend and he didnt like that staff. Kind of crazy but James White was also in that class.

Gio was ACC freshman of the year during his RS FR year
James was BIG10 freshman of the year while having Montee Ball (two years) ahead of him and Melvin Gordon
