This is really stupid.
Arguing over a guy that was never going to come to Miami. Him and his crew wanted assurances he was going to be a quarterback, which we obviously would not do.
So we are honest with him and he doesn’t come here, he goes somewhere else where they lie to him and tell him he’s going to be a quarterback, obviously he gets switched to wide receiver.
So now the canes are the idiots for not signing him?
Had we lied and said he had a shot at quarterback, when he got switched to wide receiver what would’ve happened? Miami never gets a hometown discount from the locals. Everybody else gets the benefit of the doubt, some shlt hick town in Kentucky like Louisville gets away with lying. We would’ve been roasted. Uncle Luke, and the kids family, and everybody else would be raising ****. He would have transferred. And then we end up looking like the bad guys.
