Pick him up from the airport in a Brinks truck.
No worries, I got it covered.

Got a hooper in my hometown signed with Adidas coming out he was top 10 player in country. Signed with an adidas school, hit the transfer portal this winter. His adidas contract lasts through his collegiate career and states he needed to play at an adidas school. The school he announced his transfer to is Nike rn, but will announce over the summer they’re going to Adidas. He got a crazy bag. I’m sure basketball is different than football for adidas for what they allow.

VERY TENUOUS L$U commitment...I like the momentum Miami has with Keys.

@DMoney in the May 29, 2025 Bank

Miami is also squarely in the mix for #1 WR Tristen Keys (Hattiesburg, MS). This weekend's official visit will be his third visit to Coral Gables in three months. He also recently signed with Adidas, which sponsors the Hurricanes. This is a big-time, big-money recruitment, so both sides have boxes to check off this weekend. But this is a very live situation. Keys is committed to LSU and has everyone in America after him.

The problem with this is the kid is on record saying everyone’s NIL was essentially the same and that it wasn’t the reason he committed to Miami.

Any reporting conteste contrary to that after the kid’s comments you are basically calling him a liar.

I’m glad he said something that way we can properly call out the anti UM bias.
Some people have said that NIL has negated Mario’s best ability with his recruiting

I feel a bit of the opposite. Not saying that thought process is wrong I just think that you’re gonna see situations like you’re saying where the money is equal, so it still comes down to old fashioned recruiting

It won’t, & they won’t.
I’m not saying your wrong.
But I’m trying to figure out what is gonna happen when he gets to lsu.
Is nike going to be cool with him wearing adidas cleats or other gear on national tv?

Or is adidas gonna be cool with paying a player while he’s not allowed to wear their shoes for 3 years.

I know that in soccer and in the nfl, players wear whatever shoes or accessories they’re sponsored with regardless who sponsors the league or team.

But that would be a major paradigm shift in cfb.
What I’ve read is that the apparel agreements are specific that the players can only wear their gear, especially cleats.

I think of it differently- Mario is excellent in recruiting donors to fund NIL.

It’s the same recruiting but he has earned a large budget. Manny would have half.

Curious to how this works as well.

Brother, lol…

Adidas, UA, or NB athletes at a respective school r obligated to wear that school’s sponsorship on court/field & off court/field they represent their NIL deal.

Which is y I’ve told this board that Adidas, UA, & NB allow their NIL signees to sign w rival sponsors, while Nike does not. Trevor Lawrence had a back door w Adidas his entire time while playing at Clemson. On field, Nike, off field he was rocking Adidas shoes.

Half? I’d bet he’d barley have a quarter of it we are not only some big dawgs but we are the boogey man for schools who we use to fear with their “bagmen”
