When folks get ****ed at Mario, all you need to do is imagine if Manny was still here.I think of it differently- Mario is excellent in recruiting donors to fund NIL.
It’s the same recruiting but he has earned a large budget. Manny would have half.

Brother, lol…
Adidas, UA, or NB athletes at a respective school is obligated to wear that school’s sponsorship on court/field & off court/field they represent their NIL deal.
Which is y I’ve told this board that Adidas, UA, & NB allow their NIL signees to sign w rival sponsors, while Nike does not. Trevor Lawrence had a back door w Adidas his entire time while playing at Clemson. On field, Nike, off field he was rocking Adidas shoes.
At the end, $ talks, bs walks. Thankfully, our NIL is arguably stronger than ever! Let’s hope Mario is aggressive in this department. Some people have said that NIL has negated Mario’s best ability with his recruiting
I feel a bit of the opposite. Not saying that thought process is wrong I just think that you’re gonna see situations like you’re saying where the money is equal, so it still comes down to old fashioned recruiting
That arrangement might be one of the most retarded things I’ve ever heard. 99.999% of fans will never see a player off the field so why would a shoe company pay a player any amount of money to wear the brand off the field? At the very least these companies better be telling their NIL signees that they strongly prefer the players go to schools that wear the same brand.
Mario was always going to recruit like this, that’s why he interviewed Miami for the job….they didn’t interview him. He wanted to make sure he had similar bags like Oregon. That’s all he needed, dude learned from the goats of recruiting. Butch and SabanSome people have said that NIL has negated Mario’s best ability with his recruiting

They would be nice to us talking great about UM, rival fans would say I wish Miami would be back. Until it happens then they regret itWhen folks get ****ed at Mario, all you need to do is imagine if Manny was still here.
Nike runs **** in America it’s that simple. Anyone saying otherwise is fried, you can’t save them Rel. you tried but you just can’t save themIt’s y I legit ? those aforementioned brands. Even Nike took a jab at NB when Cooper Flagg hit a game clinching shot saying “still powered by Nike.” Lol. Then NB responded officially saying they have no problem w Flagg wearing Nike on court b/c it’s temporary.
Imo, it’s a big mistake for those companies to allow their NIL players rep other brands in school while playing b/c of what u said. Only Nike/JB NIL guys specifically go to Nike/JB schools. I posted a list of Adidas NIL athletes attending rival brands, & often times it backfires 2-3 yrs down the line.

Would be wild. There's legit folks saying no chance at all, some saying it looked promising. I'll wait for a commitment.I think we flip him
