So just saw that Keys is signed with Adidas. Normally that would be key clue.
But supposedly we are about to be free and clear to sign with Nike or JB. (Calling

With NIL and everything else, if the athlete signs with a different brand than the school, how is the athlete/school impacted?
Could branding be a factor in this key recruitment?
Adidas athletes sign with other branded schools all the time; it’s the opposite of Nike NIL athletes.
Examples:
-Hailey Van Lith signed w Adidas & played for LSU & TCU
-Vernell Brown III signed w Adidas & committed to UF
-Ross Zheng signed w Adidas & attended Stanford
-Ian Jackson signed w Adidas & committed to UNC, & now St John
-Karter Knox signed w Adidas & committed to Arkansas
-Madden Iamaleava signed w Adidas & committed to Arkansas & now UCLA
-Atkinson signed w Adidas & his final 4 are UGA, Clemson, Bama, O$U, & Auburn
-Kayden Dixon-Wyatt signed w Adidas & committed to O$U
-Chris Henry Jr signed w Adidas & committed to O$U
-Winston Watkins Jr signed w Adidas & committed to Ole Miss
I’ve not heard any news on Keys signing w Adidas, but tbh, I’m not very invested in recruiting or individual players any longer since commitments mean absolutely nothing today; but, even if he did it doesn’t necessarily help us since we’re currently w Adidas, & it won’t necessarily hurt us switching back to Nike/JB.
