Trevor Lawrence...What A Pu$$y

I remember going down to the park with some friends and playing basketball against guys that were 10x more athletic and 5 inches taller. They thought they’d run right over us.

We busted out a 2-3 zone and mixed in some 1-3-1 trap. It was hysterical. I’ve never seen so many grown men *****ing and moaning because they lost to a bunch of nobodies on “their” court.

Happens at every single school. Used to see a bunch of the Miami players when we were good, playing basketball upstairs at the student wellness center. Sean Taylor, Rolle, Quad Hill, etc...They would play there even when they pros. And, they weren't jogging down the court. I saw Sean going for dunks in traffic, blocks, etc...

Super common when someone is full court pressing.

Ehhh non-story really. Stuff like this happens. Obviously this kid is in a no win situation TL is untouchable in that state.

As For TL for a kid that looked mature beyond his years and super clam during his freshman year to lose his cool over some dork “trash talking”only proves that’s human like everyone else.

Personally I don’t believe his IG and I still don’t care that he did it. But that’s the classic “he had it coming and I’m not a bad guy he provoked me.” story.

You shove me down during a basketball game, I'm swinging on you. Lawrence knows that kid isn't going to retaliate because he'd get killed. Not only by other members of the football team but by most of the student body and local Clemson football fans. Maybe when you play basketball people just shove you over and you don't mind it but most of the world isn't like that.

This. Full court pressure during an intramural basketball game is already pretty ridiculous but if you want to press, you're going to get picked in the back court occasionally. If someone sets a perfectly legal screen (and not even a hard one at that) you can't just shove them over. That makes you a prick. Knowing you can just shove some random kid over and he wont' be able to retaliate makes you a *****.
 
What the **** is the uproar all about? It's a pick up game and they can get rough. TL missed his shot, and goes to defend the other kid immediately who got the rebound, other kid does a clean legal pick, and TL pushes him over. Why is TL a *****? That's basketball kids. Technical on TL and the game goes on. Just because he is the star QB for the Championship team, does this mean he has to tell the kid excuse me and nicely walk around his pick?

really we saw one clip from game. How many times do u think that kid trying to get others to think he was cool pulled that stupid ****? How many times in a pickup game do u play full court d? how many times did u set a screen in the ******* backcourt on offense? ever in basketball? This kid was being a prick and paid for it. he clearly was trying to make himself a name as a tough guy and got his *** handed to him. I also bet this wasn't the first time kid did it in that game and Lawrence just got fed up by end of some punk trying to make a name off him
 
I see nothing here to claim Taylor Lawrence is a pu$$y.at least he's not on Twitter or snap shot doing porno gigs instead of in the film room getting ready for Saturday's game.I guarantee this there are a lot of fans who wished OR was our qb.when this kid leaves Clemson for the league he will be a very hot commodity to nfl front office's.and I get the house when he does leave a lot of nfl teams will throw games just to get him.

Well, it's common to see screens in the back court when going up against full court press. You don't see it often in pickup basketball because nobody picks up full court pressure in basketball besides Trevor Lawrence. You ONLY set picks on offense. There's no such thing as a defensive pick in basketball. This kid was being a prick and paid for it. he clearly was trying to make himself a name as a tough guy and got his *** handed to him. as are people who feel that trevor was just being a ****. who overreacted. fact is I always played no blood no foul when I play pickup ball and If a guy did that to me id of put him on his *** also in fact most of us would. yet people are all over trevor for it. fact is there ws no need to do what that kid did to trevor 0 no play was going on he didn't have a guy with ball near him it was totally unnecessary.
