Yes, but it allows Al and staff to basically camp out on the recruit's front lawn if need be.....

1. Miami will have to honor a scholarship to Cook, Yearby & Valentine
2. The recruit can still commit to another school ... they are not bound to anything.. Miami is
3. the good thing is.. Miami can have unlimited contact with the recruit.. no restrictions.

That is true, but it gives the coaches the ability to go for multiple in-home visits, mention the kids by name (think about local kids hearing the coaches say how badly they want them on the radio), and to have basically unlimited contact until they sign. It is a big deal for us since we are the local team and can be all over the kids in our backyard. It is much harder for say FSU to have their recruiters sit in So Fla when they have other priorities too. It doesn't mean the kids will be ours, but it gives us a major tool to try and sway them.
