We should probably stop assuming what any of these QB can do, specifically if we’ve only see them do it on the high school level in highlight tapes.

Brandon Wimbush was over 70% as a passer his senior year with over 30 TDs and single digits in INTs. Any Notre Dame fan could’ve pointed to that tape and stats and say we’ve got an accurate passer who doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. The first time he starts a full year he winds up under 50%. There are like 5 people on this board who have seen Perry or Williams in a Miami huddle and that was only in practice.

We don’t know what they’re good at on the college level.
I’m saying that based off what rosier didn’t do last year beyond the Wisconsin td to cager, he absolutely did not look down the field often when the play broke down and instead just tried to run. Meanwhile both Perry and Williams exhibited strong traits of creating plays when under pressure and were able to make plenty of the plays through the air down the field in that scenario. It’s littered throughout their tape period.

In terms of qb you can’t get any worse than this In the last 7 games especially with accuracy. This is pathetic, even the lower tier d1 qbs would have been better than that....

Would it be incorrect to assume Deejay is gonna lose some of that weight during the season and maybe that's their plan is for him to get to his ideal weight during the home stretch of the season? Maybe I'm wrong but I've heard players tend to lose weight during the year & just was trying to think about how that might factor in...
Absolutely he's gonna lose some weight. It's just going it a healthy way or simply saying it off. During summer the bigger people routinely drop plenty each day. I used to lose Dan near 8lbs every day during summer. But as anyone thats ever taken working out serious would tell you that kind of cheap is very rigorous on the body. Can easily lead towards your system crashing.

A great leader doesn’t take a ho hum attitude into Pitt. If he’s a great leader, we aren’t going anywhere.
Who ever thinks malik is a great leader is kidding themselves. I had one of my boys point out to me something during the Clemson game. If you go back and watch it they were showing him on the side line mid first quarter and he was sitting off by himself looking dejected and sulking. There was a rumor at the time that he had got pulled. That clip made me wonder if it was true. Point is in that spot a leader ralkys the troops. Not sits down sulking by himself.

perfect example of this should be when jalen hurts got pulled in the national championship game.

semi anonymous. He's Brian Hightower's uncle and played on a Butch Davis team at some point, but while I'm sure many have guessed correctly who he is, he's has neither confirmed nor denied.

Usually with ya D but Redwine is NOT afriad of contact. Completely false & it’s been proven in game on a number of occasions.
Maybe not afraid but he pulls up on a regular & shys from contact (except like i said for those last several games leading into the acccg,he was playing like a beast after he got that concussion. Guess he didn't like seeing himself like that on espn. He has gained some good weight in the off season.

I’m not talking about Rosier. Talking about his stats on the college level doesnt make your point about two guys you’ve never seen take a college snap more valid. You haven’t seen Williams or Perry extend one play on the college level. That’s why I brought up Wimbush. A highlight filled with throwing dimes. He didn’t look like that as a starter on the college level.

The only facts about Perry that you have is that he struggled in scrimmages in his first camp because of his youth. Like most of us you’ve never seen him lead a drive. Extending plays in Ocala means nothing now.

You can say that about any recruit at any position so that’s not saying anything, regardless we all can agree rosier was not good or even average down the stretch and we MUST have more at the position period

I watched every game on TV but 2. **** near every time the camera would pan to Malik, he was sitting on the bench looking like he was ready to take a nap. I'd be screaming at the TV "wake the f**k up!" I recall that scene in the Clemson game as well. When he was on he field, I always felt like he was just going through the motions.

Malik Rosier has shown leadership being able to galvanize his team for come back wins is leadership... is he perfect No, was last year his 1st year trying to take on that type of role? yes.

Brooklyn I respect ur sometimes accurate opinions on here but you always post in these black or white context which often comes back to bite u in the end.

In other words you don't know what either of the QBs is actually capable of and your years of seeing high school QB tape not translate to college hasn't caused you to pause a bit in assuming how things will work out.

The problem is that CMR said Malik made almost ALL the right reads but didn't execute. That suggests to me that coach does not want a guy who goes off script like Perry. I said it all last year and I will continue to say it. Changes need to be made offensively. Coaching changes. I want CMR to stay here but he is a lousy offensive coordinator and having the kid on the staff is embarrassing

Curious. What exactly am i saying in this thread that is black or white? About leadership? If thats what you mean than im sorry but you and i simply have a very different idea of what a leader is. Come out to practice and see how deejay is with the offense when malik is running it... a leader gives his people confidence when they get down. Not withdrawls. Im sorry if you dont agree but ill never call malik rosier a leader. Just me & my opinion.

You must know they won’t work out then huh? You got all the answers my guy....

Malik made a beautiful throw on 4th down to beat FSU. Langham made an even better play to seal the win.

But lets not fool ourselves. Overall he had a very poor game in Tallahassee and that final drive was extended multiple times by great individual plays by Berrios for a key first down and two phenomenal runs by Homer.

Leadership is a lot more than making a throw at the end of the game. It's being mentally prepared the entire 60 minutes. It's keeping your teammates focused and motivated. It doesn't mean getting in anyone's face if that's not your makeup. There are many ways to lead.

Overall I didn't really see Rosier doing any of them for a majority of the season.
