TNM: Yeezy's

What’s value? What’s resale? What makes a shoe valuable? What’s make a shoe re-sale at a higher value?

Was the Vapormax exclusive? Was the Cookies & Creams exclusive? Were the Kyrie’s exclusive? Were the lightsmoke exclusive?? What r u even talking about?

Because we are discussing the normal consumer not people who would pay 2k for PSG Jordans

"When the Adidas Yeezy made its debut in 2015, the company released it in very limited quantities, and the scarcity of the product helped to give the shoes a cult following. But research shows that it’s bad for companies to use product scarcity as a long-term strategy."

"While that’s good news for the average customer, it’s likely bad news for resellers, who’ve capitalized on buying the hard-to-get shoes and upselling them for triple their retail value or more. That trend has frustrated customers in the past, since only an elite group of consumers can afford to spend $1,000 on sneakers. Making the item so out of reach to the masses instills more brand resentment than brand loyalty, and with this re-release, Adidas has made it clear that it has a wider audience in mind."

So you know they can like make more money

U’re all over the place, dog. Lol. LIT-ER-ALLY, after Kanye made that dumb *** comment that Slaves had a choice to be slaves, Adidas flooded the market! Y??! B/c he offended the greater of his target market! Lol. Adidas even felt compelled to make a statement afterwards. Lol. Just stop.

Yet, see how many Yeezy’s are on people’s feet vs. Jordans. Lol.

Like it’s really this deep for shoes? I’m so old
LoL. I never thought I would see the day politics will rule sneaker sales. From what I see the young bucks in the hood can care less. No politician from either side ever done anything for those kids. That's why they keep hustling and keep their noses above water. All this Yeezy and Nike bs over loser politics don't effect style. It's either, you have bread or no bread. A pair of Yeezys says that as much as Jordans.
Put Love first, politics is the devil.

Real talk. I don’t fck w Yeezys b/c I don’t fck w Kanye.
I dont have a prob with Kanye I could care less about him but tbh them shyts looks regular af to me even if they had a Jordan logo them **** look like tactical army shoes. Like they couldnt decide ballerina or military

I'm not a big Yeezy fan, but if Adidas is going to give them to the program then so be it. Boosts are far better looking sneakers, and they aren't hype beast kicks either. That said, salute to Adidas for going beyond the LTO shoe game, because that remains the biggest threat to sneaker culture as is. You can't continue to have people locked out of the game, and then expect them to stick around long term. Us old heads remember back when you could buy a pair of kicks by going to the store and at worst waiting for a restock. Now it's almost impossible to get hot kicks without having backdoor connections or the like. How can a middle class kid get in the game?

I just was never in the mindset of my shoes showing that I was on the come up. I don’t understand how shoes are a sign of wealth or standing. ***** wild to me 😂
