I'm hearing Mark Richt and Tim "Ice" Harris are in Orlando for 4A state championship between Booker T and Raines.

*Looks like Ice will still be on staff, which is a good thing...will most likely keep the Booker T/Central/Northwestern/Norland area

We lost Jamel Cook, Emmet Rice, Darnell Solomon, Keir Thomas, and we dont have a single commit from any of those schools this year. The area is definitely not ours to keep.

They did not want to play for Golden.

Doesnt matter how we lost the area but we have certainly lost it and Ice Harris wasnt able to do anything to stop that. I see no evidence at all that Ice is able to bring in recruits even from the Miami area.

If no one wants to play for your coach there is nothing anyone can do. I don't care how good of a recruiter you are. People are not dumb and knew Golden's scheme and coaching was trash.

We still have some done fine recruits coming from other schools like STA and Gulliver yet some how we arent getting these guys from the apparent "stomping ground" schools that Ice should be getting them from. Using golden as excuse is a cop out.

Nobody wants Salomon thats why he committed at usf. That tells u all u need to know about his commitable offers

Georgia was just above $4 million including a $1 million OC and a $1.3 million DC. I'm sure Miami is looking around 3.5-4 depending on the names Richt wants to go get there is a little wiggle room.

We've been looking at a $2.5-3 million staff the last 5 years to give you an idea of the extra room.

Our coordinators have been at 500k each plus 7 assistants at around 200k and your strength coach is around 150k and his assistants add up to about 100k. (This is based on what other schools typically pay, ours could be less or a little more).

I think Ice is a keeper. In business you can only do what your higher ups allow you to do an with the coaching change I think he will show more promise with better leadership an schemes.

I really hope that is the one and only coach he keeps from this staff. I want them all gone but with Ice I could rationalize because there could be some blow-back from Dade high schools if he fired him.

I think Beard has deserved a place - the receivers have noticeably improved under him.

In light of his tweet after Richt was hired, I wonder if Bruce will still bolt if Beard isn't retained?
