This is on Richt

Wow. Five guys. Phenomenal post if we're talking about tennis or basketball. Whatcha got there, one RB and one WR? And we're supposed to be competing for championships with that?

If only we had 22 NFL starters instead of 15, we could win the ACC Coastal.

We've seen the story for a decade now. Fans blame the players instead of the coaches. Five years later, the players' careers are thriving while the coaches are coaching at the Kendall Boys and Girls Club.

Once again we have fans that are so attached to the coach that they are viciously blaming the 18-22 year old kids who came here. I learned from the Golden era that you don't blame the players period. They arent getting paid, the majority wont play professionally, and they could have chosen to go anywhere. The coaches on the other hand are getting paid millions and aren't getting it done. You don't need a team full of NFL draft picks to beat unranked ACC opponents at home.

So you are saying that, once again, Miami's recruiting rankings were just off. That we just got unlucky and ended up with all of the not-actually-four-star kids? And that UNC and VT, who perennially recruit way worse than we do, have more talent? Have we not seen this story like 4 coaches in a row?

And we've only had like 30 players in 10 years, so it is monumental to say that we had 15 NFL starters spread out over God knows how many years. You nailed it.

So Jagr believes we have worse talent than VT and UNC. Just like the Golden slurpers were saying, and the Randy worshippers before them.

It doesn't have to be this vague and complicated. Did you see Jerod Evans? He makes plays. Did you see Mitch Tribusky? He makes plays. Deondre Francois? Makes plays. But our best retort is....."yeah but the scouts like our guy."

im saying al goldens players are soft and fold when challenged in games. and im right. i dont give a **** if they go to the nfl and catch a touch down.

I'm not talking about scouts or the nebulous "he makes plays". The team is garbage despite having outrecruited every team on our schedule besides FSU. You must have been in a coma the last 3 times we hired corches and people were ripping the players.

Yes, I absolutely do. Because you keep throwing around the word "talent" as though it's quantifiable, but it's not. I said it during and after UNC: give us Mitch Tribusky and one other skill guy and we win the game. They can have Larry Fedora and Brad Kayaa and Mark Walton. We win the game. You guys want to look back eight years because some lineman actually made an NFL roster and claim that we should have won because of that.

If they are soft it's bc their HC was a guy who got fired from UGA for folding in big games. Are you sure you realize why Mark Richt was available? Its cuz he was FIRED.

You can run up and down any big 5 conference school and find NFL contributors for a few years after the season.

Find me a team in the ACC Coastal with 15 NFL starters.

Good lord with the NFL stuff. So each year we have a handful of JRs and SRs who have the measurables to end up in the NFL. Fantastic. This is a different game. Give me playmakers who have the heart to win games now, not some guy who decides it's worth the effort once Da League opens up the wallet.

This shlt is so fcking corny. Almost as weak at the "gimme kids who want to 'Canes" horseshlt people blabber when a top recruit decommits.

Elite programs (OSU, Bama, etc.) routinely send kids to the NFL and also win on Saturdays. Even that stupid redneck Jimbo Fisher has been able to win plenty of big college games, and FSU has sent a plethora of kids to the league over the past few seasons.

It is the responsibility of the coaches to motivate their players and have them ready to play at the College level.

Last night was a complete embarrassment. National television and the type of environment where you need a complete effort from a team.

UM was flat, unprepared, and unmotivated, and that is on Richt.

And your post is typical message board fan bullsht. It's always on the coach. You haven't led anything in your life, but you're pretty **** certain that your favorite team's coach should be "motivating" everyone.

If it's about coaches and not players, could you give us your detailed analysis on why the best coaches in the game sometimes lose 0 games and sometimes lose 4 games? It's all coaching, right?

Same condescending garbage spewed on these boards for the last 15 years: Message board porsters are retards, kids have no heart, coach needs more time.

Funny how the mopes and naysayers that voiced their concerns earlier on in the Coker, Shannon, and Golden tenures turned out right.

At the end of the day, there isn't a single program in this country that has done less with more than the University of Miami over the last decade. If you don't understand the skepticism, you're either braindead or haven't followed the program.

The way we have played this season doesn't reflect the level of talent, and that has been Richt's calling card over his last several years in Georgia. Did those team's not have any heart either?

/What the fck kind of elite coach loses 4 games in a season?

So we just have been so unlucky, for 15 years. We just happen to not get the RIGHT 4 and 5 star players? B/C Al Golden, Randy Shannon, Larry Coker, and Mark Richt are all Bill Belichick but the gods cursed them with bad players. Right? Get out of here with this same recycled garbage. Your hero worship of UGA's garbage is bizarre.

There ya go. Start taking postshots instead of having an adult discussion. You fit in nicely.

The team is garbage because bad coaches recruited mediocre players. We can go down the list of every successful coach in America. When they have the dudes, they win. When they don't have the dudes, they lose games. And that's with the same staff at the same program. Things change because of the players, period. Even bad coaches win with players. Why are we the one exception to the rule?

15 NFL starters on the 2013 team alone. Good effort, though.

Flowers, Feliciano, Seantrel, Linder, Walford, Duke, Hurns, Dorsett, Gunter, Chickillo, Perryman, Armbrister, Howard and O'Donnell have all started games. Burns will be the 15th (he starts in nickel already).

Again, is that enough talent to win the ACC Coastal?

Shrug. Al Golden, Randy Shannon, and Larry Coker weren't cursed by anything except their own incompetence. And that goes for recruiting as well as coaching.

Here's what's funny: you admit that we have been bad for 15 years, but if Mark Richt doesn't fix it in 7 games, then he is garbage too. Hot take.

But we didn't recruit bad players. We recruited players that EVERYONE wants. Remember last year when fools like you declared "Chad Thomas is a diva south florida bust". Now that he gets to play in a legit defensive scheme he is beasting. Stop blaming the 18 year old kids that every major program in America was dying to have. It's the same story as the last three coaches. We hired a guy who was fired for being mediocre. What the **** do you expect????
