This is on Richt

Second week in a row we come out completely unprepared. Brain-dead penalties, running into 8-man fronts, inexplicably bad special teams, outmanned by a physically inferior team. This is really discouraging.

Why are people shocked?

This is who he is. This is who he has been at UGA the last decade. That is why some of us wanted nothing to do with him.

He needs to fire himself as OC immediately.

You can check my post history, 15 years, 0 nc's with elite talent at Georgia. That's concerning.

Why did Georgia have elite talent? They didn't have elite talent before Richt got there.

And despite the elite talent he still **** the bed every year. Are you saying that UGA should have accepted being second fiddle in the SEC? And if so, you are admitted that Rickt is a coach who leads to being second fiddle.

The frustrating part is:

The coastal division is wide open, once again
FSU is down this year and we still found a way to lose
The offense, and OL, continue to suck against real competition
Special Teams blunders keep popping up
The stupid penalties continue

Besides the defense, it's hard to see a material difference from previous Al Golden coached teams

If Richt recruits elite talent here (and develops it like he's done in the past), I'll be satisfied.

Yeah I'd love to have some Urban Meyer savage who's going to win 11 games in a down year, but those guys are rare AF.

Maybe you missed the question. I asked why Georgia had elite talent while Richt was there. Step back from the ledge and let's take this one step at a time.

Because there isn't a material difference from the loser-filled roster that Al Golden put together and demoralized.

But but but with ten injuries Tracy Howard is starting on the worst team in the NFL. And Gunter is starting with four cab injuries in GB. Who exactly is dominating? **** who's even a legit contributor? Dorsett?? Bwahaha! Duke? Kind of? Rashawn Scott? Nope. Burns or bush? I haven't heard much on either. Walford? Not doing much in Oakland. We used to have potential pro bowlers, who on this team has that level of talent that is not a freshman? The talent is not great and the coaching is actually even worse

Our 2013 team only had 15 guys who started in the pros. I wish we had 16 Pro Bowlers like Virginia Tech.

When do you stop your NFL talent bull****? It is so dishonest. You can run up and down any big 5 conference school and find NFL contributors for a few years after the season. But you don't mention that Duke played in 5 games in 2013 and our f*cking RB was Dallas Crawford.

I'm not shocked by the W-L record, but I'm shocked by how we're getting there. I never would have predicted that the offense would crater without significant injuries.

Am I too easy on Kaaya? Maybe. But his career is on a very familiar track. Amazing as a freshman, plateaus a bit, then regresses. If the trend holds, he will get better once he leaves here.

Our least talented unit is the OL, but they are still playing below their talent. Our sack percentage was Top 25 last year. Now we are in the 80s and dropping rapidly. Did Kaaya get less athletic? Or is something wrong with the way we're calling games?

no kaaya didnt. he is the same ole lame duck runner (not runner). 21, 20, 13 and 16. not even alabama would win with that offensive production.

Herman was the guy that was hungry and we blew it

At the end of the day, UM went with the "safe" hire, plain and simple.

Problem is, Richt steadily declined during his Georgia years. 25-13 against ranked opponents in Richt's first seven season, 14-23 against them in the final 8. This also includes a 5-15 mark against Top 25 teams from 2009 to 2015.

He routinely brought in top 10 recruiting classes, but couldn't produce to his level of talent of talent. This has been our gripe with the last 3 coaching staffs. DMoney is dead on - anyone who has complained about our level of talent over the last several seasons needs to look at the number of Miami players playing Sunday. Even Fat Al had a stable full of NFL talent his first season and dropped our final home game to a pitiful 3-8 Boston College team.

I took a wait-and-see approach with Richt this season, as he seemed completely reinvigorated by the idea of calling plays, but thus far into the season, playcalling has been absolutely abysmal.

What UM has truly lacked is a head coach with coaching acumen. A guy like Urban Meyer is an elite coach because he brings a coaching dynamic to the table and isn't just a "CEO." Obviously, guys like him and Saban don't grow on trees, but Herman and the offense he runs is precisely why many here wanted to UM to do whatever it took to get him here.

Find me a team in the ACC Coastal with 15 NFL starters.

Good lord with the NFL stuff. So each year we have a handful of JRs and SRs who have the measurables to end up in the NFL. Fantastic. This is a different game. Give me playmakers who have the heart to win games now, not some guy who decides it's worth the effort once Da League opens up the wallet.

You really need to take a hard look at Kaaya post Clemson.

Seriously the kid is shook beyond repair and has been. He was skittish playing against FAMU. Richt wins 10 a year at UGA and now he's clueless? Come on man. We lost to two teams last year by 50+.

Anyone posted this yet? Truth hurts...

The funny thing is, Virginia Tech (5-2, 3-1) should be in the same boat, but the Hokies don’t look the part of a renovation project. They, too, were without defensive stars Ken Ekanem and Nigel Williams, and it didn’t matter. Fuente and defensive coordinator Bud Foster know some of this might be illusion, that only three players on the roster were recruited by this administration. Last week’s shocking defeat at Syracuse only underscored that the job isn’t done. But Thursday’s game against Miami was a fair measurement of two teams forging similar paths, and there was little doubt the Hokies had navigated well ahead of their rivals.

The last 3 years are on Kaaya. DMoney blaming everyone during these 3 years but Kaaya. He is the one constant during our suckery. The worst 3rd down quarterback we have ever had.

Another game, another 3rd down disaster. Can't even run for it on a 3rd and 3. EVER!

Offense Against V-Tech:
3rd down: 3-15
4th down: 0-2

He just ain't good for us. He ain't what we need.

Kaaya is the epitome of the Al Golden era but let's keep blaming everybody else

Another year, another year of us canes fans looking to the future! so tired. How is it that our qb is looking so bad! can't believe what I'm seeing. I remember this type of thing happening to Stephen Morris. some of the decisions our staff is making is headshaking!

Nick Saban went 7-6 his first season in Tuscaloosa. Let's slow down on the "canning him after one season" talk.

Why after having Golden and Randy as our HCs do you, and so many other Richt naysayers, believe that we have some credibility in challenging his resume lol?

Coach Richt has won the SEC twice, his side of the conference several times, and Miami hasn't won the coastal since it joined the ACC. So please tell me more about how terrible Coach Richt was at UGa??

This. Kaaya has happy feet in the pocket. Zero pocket awareness, and you don't have to even tackle the guy; you sneeze and he falls over.

I really don't care what Mark did at UGA. What brothers me is that he just loss 3 in a row at Miami. That just is not acceptable. Players seem to be getting worse not better. We saw that begin under Coker, get really bad under Randy, reach epic proportions under Golden. Unless someone has information about some sort of "get worse" pollutant in the ground at Greentree, then HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.
