This is on Richt

I'm shocked richt has been so bad. I was so excited about the offense under his watch and was scared sh*tless about Diaz and the defense. Can't believe the opposite has happened. I still have hope that he'll get us going in the right direction but I'm nervous

Richt not gonna change, he will just upgrade the parts, I expect a Butch like frustration period here for at least 2 years

Kaaya sucks, quit trying to defend him money. Accept the fact that you made a bad talent evaluation and move on.

17 and 15 as a starter. Last night was the 1st time in his career where he can actually say he got murked Kyle Wright style and sadly. Most of those sacks were on him.

He can't read defenses for **** and he never gives a reciever a chance to make a play.

Honestly I think this is all a function of the fact that one man cannot be the head coach, offensive coordinator, recruiter, and quarterback coach. The offense doesn't look like it is well installed, it doesn't look cohesive, it doesn't look like it is attacking the weaknesses of the defense, it doesn't look like it is covering up for any deficiencies in talent, and players don't look like they are prepared every week. Richt has taken too much on himself.

Seen this coming from a mile away. I got criticized when I said 7-5. How could y'all blame dropped passes on coaching ? Players need to hold there self accountable and stay after practice. If coaches have to take time in practice to teach players how to catch that's a major red flag. And D money you really expected us to win yesterday? With Trent Harris and Jackson starting at end ? And Colbert holding Hodges's ? Stop being such a homer. You keep saying we have NFL talent but football is a team sport, you need more than one player. I just seen in another thread that it's Banda fault for our safety play come on now y'all will blame anybody. Stop letting D money gas y'all up. He does it every year.

I agree with this. It is a total mess. The only saving grace is our defense improvement, but that will not last long. The defense is starting to wear down b/c of lack of offensive production. Always on the field and the injuries are piling on to this young D. I am hoping for two wins for a crappy bowl now !

Possession was dead even last night. Agree, this play calling makes Pat Nix look creative, it's atrocious. Run game is pathetic and Walton is not a feature back at this level. Crazy that Edwards has not been given any carries lately. Defense IMO gave a good effort and gave us what we needed to win. Offense and special teams are a disaster.

Not that simple D. Richt sucks but you and Pete pump so much sunshine about how our players are studs and NFL level guys but it's not there.

Until they get to the NFL and start balling. It happens every year. Every single year.

The NFL and Draft will demonstrate there is talent here and that talent should be having better results (i.e. in the win column).

But but but with ten injuries Tracy Howard is starting on the worst team in the NFL. And Gunter is starting with four cab injuries in GB. Who exactly is dominating? **** who's even a legit contributor? Dorsett?? Bwahaha! Duke? Kind of? Rashawn Scott? Nope. Burns or bush? I haven't heard much on either. Walford? Not doing much in Oakland. We used to have potential pro bowlers, who on this team has that level of talent that is not a freshman? The talent is not great and the coaching is actually even worse

Our 2013 team only had 15 guys who started in the pros. I wish we had 16 Pro Bowlers like Virginia Tech.

A few things:

1. I don't think porsters realize how hard it is to make the NFL.

2. I don't think porsters realize that the level of talent in the NFL is better than College.

3. I don't think porsters realize that if you essentially can make an NFL roster, you're good enough to play in College.

4. I don't think porsters realize the amount of players that come out of Miami and under-produce while being here and then go on to _________ (fill in the blank) and have more success in the NFL.

Second week in a row we come out completely unprepared. Brain-dead penalties, running into 8-man fronts, inexplicably bad special teams, outmanned by a physically inferior team. This is really discouraging.

Why are people shocked?

This is who he is. This is who he has been at UGA the last decade. That is why some of us wanted nothing to do with him.

He needs to fire himself as OC immediately.

This. Low energy coach who loses

Smokey's back.

suck.webp

We have talent on this roster. But we also have a significant amount of holes as well.

For starters Malek Young shouldn't be on the field right now. That kid should be red-shirted. But he'll likely be a starter next season and may even be our number 1 corner.

I'm not happy right now. But after week 4, some of you honestly thought we were running the table. In simple terms for those that thought we would - you played yourself.

Malek Young is the reason we kept running the ball into 8 men fronts, down by 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

You can check my post history, 15 years, 0 nc's with elite talent at Georgia. That's concerning.

Why did Georgia have elite talent? They didn't have elite talent before Richt got there.

I don't blame the coaches for Badgley yakking that XP. We blocked another kick, and the coverage units have been good all year. I didn't see a big problem with specials last night.
