There are complaints about the KC/CIN game being fixed by the refs...

I don't think it was, it just gave the appearance of being so, especially combined with the lopsided penalty numbers following that. The grounding was crazy obvious. I was sitting there confused as to why they nobody was mentioning it, before the tv crew finally saw the flag.

I had money on the chiefs. I'm not complaining.

Here's the thing, though. The back judge came in waving his hands before the play. If there was an appearance of shadiness, that ref would have to know that the play was going nowhere. If the Chiefs score on that play, it's still coming back.

not just a bad look but something that threatens the game

you gonna watch games or buy tickets if you think they've been fixed?

i was a baltimore colts fan and ive seen bubba smith opine on how he felt sb III was fixed.

Maybe, but neither the NFL, NBA, or gambling sites have to cheat to make money.
what is the "they"?

all you need is one bettor and the right player to fix a game

and the biggest cheaters cheat despite already having lots of money (mafia and boxing)

as to op's question i usually will not throw any shadow on a former canes player but ive long suspected one player with an especially awful performance in a big game

posters can figure this out and i'm ready to take the criticisms

Um all I have to say is #77, the right tackle from Cincy gave up four sacks in that game. Missed calls happen but that dude was straight trash and killed so many drives. Refs weren’t wearing his uniform whiffing so many times.

Semper Canes!!!

If the fix was in would not have Bills be in the Super Bowl?
KC or Cinci? No NFL exec cares about which mid-market, Midwest NFL team reaches the Super Bowl. But the Bills had the story line with the Hamlin injury. That would have been the fix if there was a fix.

Last night was just some questionable calls but that is true of every game. Early on KC lost a running TD to a holding call. Why was that called if there was a fix. And nobody made the Cinci linebacker push Mahomes on the scramble. That was not an officiating call. Just a bad play.

Calm down cocaine bear, this might the only fraggle thread with a topic worthy of discussion.

I didn’t write the word “they” so I’m not sure what you mean.

The game I picked was based on the bad calls the entire game, the WORSE call ever was 2002 NC Porter call. The year before we slaughtered Nebraska and Porter was an official from the Big 12 (as was the entire crew). Was Porter punishing us for the Nebraska embarrassment? Not having a penalty on Allen after the crippling McGahee hit where he did the cutthroat symbol is beyond me. OSU was a dirty team.

On the play Mahomes was pushed out of bounds, Orlando Brown committed an egregious holding penalty against a Cincy DL that went uncalled. An atrocious no call that would have likely got Mahomes sacked. That and the bogus do over play felt wrong.

The officiating in this game definitely affected the outcome. A total embarrassment for Roger G and the rest of the crew. Did these officials bet on the game ? They were completely incompetent.
