Man that'd be something if we do end up flipping Cook and Lane all of a sudden wants in on this class. I 100% prefer Dixon to Lane but I guess if he wants in we take him. God damnit I would pay mucho money to see the look on Quincy Wilson's *** face if that were to happen.
 
Hope lane flips, i thought we never stopped recruiting him and it was an issue where he was not first on our board because of being indecisive. Personally, I think this kid is UM at heart and it would be a big win on the national recruiting front if he switched.

kid wore Canes gear way back in his first visit (i believe) to Gainesville... I'd welcome him.

Interested about LSU's visit with Valentine and Thomas. I really like those two for the defense and hope they stay true to the Canes. Any news on their stance?

An users standing in the community determines what action we take if any when they do something stupid. My best advice is when a new user joins make sure you think through your first few hundred post. A lot of forums won't let you post on certain boards until you have been registered for a year. As far as any comments that any of our writers make and how it relates to our revenue I think it is important to remember that users don't have short memories and if our writers aren't credible we will lose traffic. I don't think most people would be surprised that Cooks interest could affect Lane. I think most are doubtful Lane ends up here but it sounds like the coaches aren't done trying.
 
You guys ever think that the reason we are trying to get back with lane us because they Are not so confident with dixon?

They affect the 85 number that's not the big problem. The big problem is the 25 plus 4 that counted towards last year.

But a number of these kids are going to be EE. Several will count against last years class.

That was exactly the point he was making. No matter how many are EEs, only 4 can be counted towards last years class because we used up 21 counters last year. Add the 25 LOIs we are allowed this year and we have an non-negotiable total of 29 for this year.

This... It is totally rediculous for anyone to not want to take Ermon Lane. The kid is from Homestead why would we let any top recruit from there go anywhere else. Who cares if you don't like him personally. The kid is in high school and I honestly don't believe (yes look in the mirror) you were mature as you are now as you were in HS. He is no doubt a physical specimen and if Al wants him then why wouldn't you and see what he could do with him. And any kid that wears canes gear on a visit the Gainesville I will f*** with any day of the week.
