Miami should always have one of the top TE rooms in the country. We have it now with Brevin and Mallory. But the future was looking incomplete and Field was under pressure.

Not anymore. We already had two versatile chess pieces in Hodges and Brantley that can run routes, catch, run after the catch and block on the move. We already had the in-line blocker with speed in Mammarelli. The missing piece was that true matchup nightmare receiving TE that Miami has made famous.

Arroyo is that guy. He has the right frame, he runs routes effortlessly and does all the little things as a receiver. He was our top guy from the beginning, and his offers speak for themselves. Hats off to Field for earning his reputation as a recruiter.

I think Lashlee gets the props for this. Kid had a relationship there already - said Lashlee reached out immediately. I'm sure Fields was important but Lashlee got Miami's foot in the door.

Ivins just noted that Arroyo has a cell phone with a 305 area code. WAs his grandmothers and he took it over...

Noah Fant 2.0, athletic pass catching TE with high level route running.

Arroyo & Mammarelli in Lash's offense are going to be DANGEROUS, nobody is covering those 2 big body fast dudes down the seams & in the Red Zone will be TD machines off PA ball fakes even out of the Gun.

These dudes will be chunk yard playmakers in the middle of the field, they both have those long stride running gait that gathers up yards & makes up a lot of ground at full speed while moving the chains in the intermediate routes.

Arroyo 100% IMO has future NFL potential, huge pickup for Miami today. The TEU brand is still stronger than ever.

This is a BIG win for Lashlee, Field and Miami. The national Rivals reporter just wrote a lengthy article. The highlights:

When Lashlee relocated to Miami, Arroyo picked up an offer nearly instantaneously. With the Canes, Arroyo found an offensive play-caller he's familiar with, an offense that features pass-catching tight ends and an opportunity to return home.

Arroyo has an excellent ability to get vertical, make catches over defenders and thrives at reeling in catches in traffic. He can stretch the field vertically and also create a major mismatch in the red-zone thanks to his length, ability to vertical, extraordinary catch radius and reliable hands.

As a blocker, Arroyo is a pancake waiting to happen at his best. He's an above-average blocker that is called upon to stalk-block or crack-block in his high school offense. If given the opportunity, Arroyo seems to thrive off of a chance to hit somebody.

I know you didn't mean to - but you're giving us all a stiffy.
