It’s probably too late now since they’re changing in 2024 but they should add a division title as criteria that means something over a team sitting at home this weekend

Tcu would have one less loss and better wins. Also tcu played in champ game, bama did not. Also tcu beat only common opponent, tex, by larger margin.

I can't think of a single logical fact based argument for putting in bama over tcu if tcu losses.

Bro they put Bama over Tennessee who has a head to head win, higher conference standing, common opponents, strength of schedule, and tied at record. TCU is done

ESPN just showed the probability for each team at the half time of the UCF game, and essentially, it looks like TCU is still in. Basically, It's:
1. UGA
2. UofM
3. TCU/OSU
4. TCU/OSU
 
There is literally ZERO reason to put BAMA ahead of any of the top 10 one loss teams or TN, who has the same record, from the same conference, but BEAT BAMA head to head.

With more parity in the SEC coming down the pike and with USC/Miami taking their share of top players, BAMA's rule is over. They'll be elite, but no longer the king.
