I'm hearing Coach Wick and Coach Wax are very likely to join Miami's staff with Coach Candle.

I'm like.. 15 pages behind. So somebody might have already brought this up.

When I look at run vs pass totals, I always add sack totals to pass attempts, and I remove WR, TE and QB runs from total rush attempts.

I look at it like sacks were likely going to be pass attempts anyway & WR & TE runs are gimmicks.

I put QB designed runs in its own category because they're personnel dependent. Most coordinators not named Gattis aren't calling 130 designed QB runs (Toledo's QB 1) for TVD. Brown would definitely hit 54 (Toledo's QB 2) though.

Looking at this way, its 466 pass attempts, 389 RB rush attempts, and 184 QB runs. Keep in mind that we also don't know the number of pass plays called that ended up being QB scrambles.

Most importantly, we don't know what he would call instead of QB designed runs, with someone like TVD at QB. But keep in mind that BOTH of their QBs were inaccurate passers (59.7% and 47.5%).

After you take everything into consideration its probably a safe bet that his offense would be pretty balanced at UM.

He had a pocket qb before in Logan woodside he lit diaz defense up when we played them. Also the issue with Mario hasn’t been attempts it’s more so the style of passing game he has had

The key part of this sentence is “ it’s not about attempts “. I want creativity , spacing and route concepts from the twenty first century.
