(The) Indiana (Game)

Let's not be those people. While they're far from perfect and unbeatable, they are a very good team & this is a perfect example of elite coaching at all tiers and elite execution. We gotta knock them out of their comfort area and play a flawless game ourselves or people will say we did the same thing oregon did.
Yes, they are a great team, but I'm not going to pretend Oregon wasn't out there giving out gifts like Oprah during a Christmas special. A turnover for YOU, and a turnover for YOU! A turnover for EVERYONE!!!

What if Beck goes out there and throws 5 tds?
The Malicat would’ve worked if he ran to the right behind COOPER and MAUIGOA easy 5 yard gain. When you got to have it get behind 73 and 61.
This is FACTS. The Malicat would have worked if he follows the TE block.. Him going the other way doesnt really make sense with how the blocking was set up.

Always a fine line

Let’s not even talk about the Beck TD run that won the game

Throwing the ball in that spot was certainly a bold choice to begin with when we were absolutely hammering them in the run game and we had a timeout left

I think he wanted to try something. We had another time out in case. But yeah brown A gap wouldn’t worked

This is a good matchup for us. Ignore what the talking heads on tv say...they are all clueless.

If we stop the run, we're gonna win this game. Period.

Indiana beat Iowa, Penn State, and OSU by a COMBINED eleven points. Miami is a better team that any of those three squads. Indy is very vulnerable if they can't run the ball.

Did I mention Heatherman's D is pretty **** good against the run? Do the math. The wrong team is favored.

Or the fact that they were about to lose to 6 win Penn State if not for one of the sickest catches of the year.
Yup and PSU turned the ball over twice, giving IU the ball at their 22 yl and midfield. 10 free points, and they still needed that ridiculous catch. PSU corch turtled up and didn't trust their QB on the drive when PSU was up 24-20 too.

Yeah I’m not complaining at all

Just saying he gets a lot of **** when it doesn’t work even though it’s a fine line most times

If the Fletcher flea flicker works he’s a genius for setting up the other team

It’s what happens though when you aren’t an explosive offense, these little things are magnified

Yeah. In rewatching Beck should’ve launched it out of bounds.

Whether something works or not doesn't change if it's appropriate to call in that moment (especially on a field we had already shown issues with footing) would've been great to see. But why go through all of that to establish and break the other defense will only to show them we feel the need to try a gimmick. The effect was just as easily established by simply going playaction... Gotta do a better job to understand the flow of the game. Nothing wrong with a gimmick when necessary. But not in that spot. Just my two cents and what a lot of us felt.
