The Bickersons Thread

So every time you're proven wrong about something you just change your line of attack.

"We're struggling to recruit because we're not elite anymore!"

(Proven wrong)

"OK, but it doesn't matter! Because we'll ruin it!"

(Proven wrong)

"Well, even Al Golden had the number one class one year!"

Rinse, repeat.

You are one ignorant ******. We are struggling to recruit. Our classes are trash compared to what we used to have. Fact. This is why we missed out in the post seasons two years in a row. The classes will continue to get worse the worse we play. Fact. Al golden had the number one class. Randy recruited it and left it for Golden. Just like we are talking about here with Gino getting left with supposed top 15 class. Except this number 1 class was Juniors and Seniors when Golden received them. Either way do you think Randys number 1 class is better then Richts recruiting?

Why should anybody take the word of somebody who obviously doesn't follow this team and clearly doesn't understand baseball recruiting?

The answer is we shouldn't.

:zczkqmritjdsoaq.jpg:

So now you're tying to lie and claim that you didn't mean that Golden had the #1 recruiting class? You're trying to claim that you meant he coached the 2008 class one season?

You are a craven liar.

What a joke.

I need to add @OriginalGatorHater comical lie about Al Golden's recruiting class to this list.

He says something stupid, is corrected, then lies and claims that he meant something else.

You must have serious issues with reading comprehension skills. You should really give your diploma back. I am embarrassed to share a degree with you. I assume you graduated pre Shalala. You read everything as if there is no context. Let me break it down for your dumbass. Jim leaves X rated class to Gino. Randy left the number 1 rated class to Golden. Do you not see the correlation. Look at how much that helped Golden. He made a bowl game!!

That wasn't the context of your post. You're only doing this pretzel logic after you were proven wrong.

You said that Miami would have trouble recruiting. I said that the next 4 classes are already set. You claimed that, well, even Al Golden had the number one class.

Wrong.

But now you're trying to save face like the pathetic fanboy that you are.

Little Mark AKA the straw-man queen. Can't win a debate the normal way so she builds up a straw-man pathetic.

In seven of his last ten seasons, he either didn't make it to the postseason or didn't make it out of a regional.

We tried to tell you. When we started losing to Florida in regionals, and when we went 0-2 in a home regional, we tried to tell you that Morris was mailing it in. People dismissed it. "We're fine". "We can't go to Omaha every year". We tried to tell you that there were signs of a declining program, and it wasn't just a down year here and there. That decline put us in the unthinkable position of missing the postseason for two straight years. It was avoidable, but people like you are ready to excuse it because we have some supposedly talented freshmen.

You and Blake James think alike, and that is not a compliment.

Yep... Morris mailed it in... now it all makes sense... go back to your gators board.

this post is spot on.

there signs were all there. yes, some of them were not morris' and james' fault, but MOST were. and most were there to be seen in plain view for anyone who was willing to pay careful attention.

regardless, NOTHING was done to manage the problem and fix what was within the university's control. had that been done, we wouldn't be in the awful position were are in right now. a mediocre and drifting program, with no meaningful strategic plan to rebuild and redirect it.

instead, we are left with a fractured baseball program, and a new leader (DiMare) that helped make the mess in the first place.

if someone is going to attempt to conjure optimism out of this quagmire, with the rationalization that we had some promising freshman, then they need proper institutional care. because they clearly can't see past the destruction, as they are too busy looking at the lovely flames.

Morris is a classic example of a lazy a$$ athletic department under Shalala.. hopefully we will get back on track... with or without DiMare

What were the signs and which ones (most, you said) were Morris' and James' fault?

Be specific.
