In no world whatsoever, do you move your best CB to safety. That is one of the stupidest ideas I’ve ever heard. You need to take that one back.
 
We retained the majority of our roster and I’d argue all important pieces minus Horton. We will end up with the fourth rated transfer class. Not sure why people are flipping out. Would’ve been sweet to get a WR1 but that was an impossibility in the spring since one was not really available. Letting Horton walk is the only questionable thing as far as I see.

Define being “ready” because my definition may be different, and I do not feel comfortable asking sophomores to do more than being rotational players. Which is what we need to compete with the big boys.

I would disagree with sophomore expectations. High talented, 4 and 5 star, sophomore should be contributors, more than just rotational. Sophomore year put your name on the map, junior year make your money. They should be “stars” for lack of a better word by second half on the season. Will they be? I don’t know

If you’re in the rotation then to me you’re “contributing”. At the moment, we don’t have any one who is going to move the needle and win you games. Which is my main point.

I do and I believe our true freshman are ready . These kids been playing football their entire life you bring someone in they’re better than and sit the bench they’ll transfer .

Never in 1 million years would I take away a cornerback that can play on the island and defend any wide receiver in the game, away from that position. You want to move Damari to safety, that’s fine. But OJ is our best cornerback and he is lockdown.

I think y’all are missing the point. He’s talking about the perspective of a transfer WR looking at Miami. It’s a fair observation IMO.

Has nothing to do with thinking Beck won’t be ready, let alone hoping he wont be lol. C’mon now.

- While some names in the Portal are waiting for paperwork to clear, I can confirm Miami has retained its current roster.

Would I be crazy to think the plan at Safety is moving Damari Brown or Bobby Pruitt there? Or we have a plan for a transfer?
