That was a clinic
Fetutzed? You win! This ain't gospel, it's a guess, but this gives me a glimmer of hope regarding the refs:
"What we do know about typical protocols: for major postseason games (like play-offs or bowl games), officiating crews come from conferences that are not affiliated with either participating team.
If this is true (I don't know yet), this is phenomenal news! Any other conferences refs will not be pulling for the non-Miami team. If anything, they should be fetutzed that the SEC has 5 teams in.
- That means the officials in this game likely will not be from the same conferences as Miami Hurricanes or Texas A&M Aggies."
Literally, if the refs call 1/4 of the legit holding calls against Mesi/Bain, we will almost certainly beat TAMU. To be continued...
Another elite takeThe issue we have with TAMU is that they match all our strengths, Bain/Mesidor matched by Howell, Toney matched by Concepcion etc. The issue is they have Reed who is more dynamic than Beck and Craver who is better than any WR we have apart from Toney. We maybe have slight advantages at RB and K but with the home field advantage for them this game looks to track very similar to the Clemson UT playoff game last year. I don't think we get totally blown out, but it seems unlikely we can generate real game pressure in the 2nd half.
i watched the A&M/ND game last night. Reed is a terrible passer. Yes, he makes some good throws, but with some pressure on him and the WRs he's as accurate as Rosier was v Pitt in 2017 (vomit)

They’re still coaching the game. Both coordinators for Texas A&M are leaving for different programs. I think this helps Miami in the game.
Yea definitely won’t need any long johns cause it’s supposed to be that way all week. The NWS says the high for next Saturday is 78 degrees….not the humidity of S Fla but the team should feel right at home.As of right now, it’s supposed to be 72 and partly cloudy in College Station next Saturday. Look forward to the @joeyhh forecast closer to game day.
Was checking out the game as well. You guys already covered everythingYeah. ND had the punt block, TAMU had a long touchdown on just horrible tackling effort, and then late 3rd ND called one of the dumbest 4th down play calls of the year at midfield.
I think we have a chance to overwhelm them on the lines. They didn’t do much to pressure Carr all night, and Reed was running around a LOT.
Main thing will be not getting beat over the top or letting them pop a big YAC play on a missed tackle. Those receivers are legit, but I don’t think Reed will methodically win a game.
The issue is they have Reed who is more dynamic than Beck
