Texas A&M thread

With the gaunlet of A&M - OSU - UGA - Oregon.

Its safe to say all position groups gotta play the best game of their lives every game. Lol

For aggies sounds like just dnt leave wr’s running wide open all game. Nor do i want those 10yrd buffers we give up at times. Rough those wr’s up. Contain qb runs as we have all season and have our safeties blow up any screens/sweeps like we have all season.

Ohh and great tackling + low penalties

Agree here. Ahmmon mentioned Reed was prone to making bad decisions when his first or second option wasn’t available. I saw the same happy feet watching a few of their games myself. We should press their smaller wide receivers with a lot of physicality and take them out of their planned routes at times and test that theory.

We have the talent to win. Need to execute. Our guys have not played a team that moves and executes with the kind of speed that T a&m will for months. Im interested to see how we will handle the change of pace and talent that will be thrown at us early in the game. Gotta hang in there during that early push from T a&m….

This ain't gospel, it's a guess, but this gives me a glimmer of hope regarding the refs:

"What we do know about typical protocols: for major postseason games (like play-offs or bowl games), officiating crews come from conferences that are not affiliated with either participating team.
  • That means the officials in this game likely will not be from the same conferences as Miami Hurricanes or Texas A&M Aggies."
If this is true (I don't know yet), this is phenomenal news! Any other conferences refs will not be pulling for the non-Miami team. If anything, they should be fetutzed that the SEC has 5 teams in.

Literally, if the refs call 1/4 of the legit holding calls against Mesi/Bain, we will almost certainly beat TAMU. To be continued...

Temp looking to be a high of 75 that day so could be extremely favorable.

You can bet your *** I've been paying a ton of attention to this as well. Still obviously a ways out, but it looks REALLY nice next weekend.

A little weather mid-week but Thursday has zero rain, high of 73
Friday has zero rain, high of 71

Looking like we're going to get absolutely ideal weather for us. Almost certainly going to be warmer than Oxford, Norman, or Eugene.

Think I saw a thread on here yesterday saying we’d have the B1G crew, but I have no idea where that info came from.

Dude, that is the absolute BEST scenario IMO. At minimum, they shouldn't be against us. We don't need refs to throw games for us, I don't want them to. All we need is a fairly called game, done with consistency across the board. If that happens, I definitely think we will win and maybe convincingly.

That’s cool. I’ll believe he can overcome his physical deficiencies against quality tackles when I see it. To this point, I haven’t.

Congrats to him on moving up mock draft boards though. I’m sure nfl teams will overlook those short arms (which Ezeiruaku doesn’t have) and take him in the first.

We don’t have to keep this going though. We’ll see how it plays out in 11 days.
Yeah so about Howell. How's that all 22 looking🤣

I just watched highlights of the 2022 game, and it's crazy to see how far our roster has come. Yikes, it was bad. It's wild that we trotted out Keshawn Smith, George and Redding as our starting Wrs.

Corey Flagg, Keontra Smith and Waymond Steed were our starting LBs. I think they finally threw up their arms and started Wes in November. But he was ready S&C wise, either.

Hope KScott is back for this game another 10 days of healing. He would be great to have back. I love how Fitzgerald has played but idk how he will be dealing with A&M
