Guys wait until the whole story. Golden fought for AQM and he fought for Eddie Johnson. i dont like him but lets wait on this.

and what good did that do. one was booted and the other one was suspended which was too much of a punishment and should have been handled internally

Al Golden is the Barack Obama of UM.
FOH Barack Obama has done more than any president in the last 40 years gtfoh with that dumb sh*t. Eliminated the Taliban leader under his command , have had multiple attacks on their top executives, greatly reduced the unemployment rate and amongst a bevy other things. What more can you do when have people in office voting against you or not wanting to work with you, or even undermine you because of the color of your skin...

LMFAO...your clearly one of those individuals that, when asked to list Hilary Clinton's major accomplishments, states-

1. chosen to serve as secretary of state;

2. please refer to 1;

3. please refer to 1;

4. paved the way for equal treatment of women, but please don't ask me to explain how....

UM

You're a patriot, sir.

His point is that most of the people who were suspeneded or released golden fought to keep them, he obviously isnt doing it for this kid so something else must be going on that hasnt been said, i know a lot of players that have talked smack to coaches on the team and they are still here and started games, im waiting and seeing whats up

Oh this escalated quickly. He must be a racist because he does t support POTATO (I mean POTUS). By the way none of the things you just gave him credit for are even true.

really? do you know for sure who Golden really "fought for" and didn't? can't think of another coach who loses so many fights for his players. and i'm done waiting and seeing.. Golden has been given way too much of a pass for theses atrocities under his tenure by a boisterous minority of our fan base. no matter how you cut it, this is just another issue (regardless of who is at fault) that has happened under this coaching regime.

Not at all, I don't agree with every thing Obama does, he's a tad bit too liberal for me especially with some of his policies on a number of things. But I like him and he has certainly did some good things while in office

@AKuperstein: Taylor Gadbois was already suspended through mid-October. Then yesterday, he upset Miami coaches during a military-style training session.

@AKuperstein: Can't say why Gadbois was suspended yet, but it was for a rule violation, and not for a dispute with coaches

So he mouthed off to coaches, but it wasn't a dispute with coaches? Seems legit.

Don't know what kid did so don't know how to feel for Gadbois. However, as a positive person, it will only help lead to more losses and a quicker dismissal of this scumbag head coach we have.

WHO CARES ABOUT OBAMA ON THIS **** BOARD? STOP IT ALREADY. We're losing sight of the real enemy, the POS in charge of the program. I happen to think Obama is not liberal enough, but I hate Al Golden more than anyone on this **** board and would kill him (am I allowed to say that with the new rules?) if he was standing in front of me right now.

Al would never ***** a kid. There has to be more to this story.

Hard to tell if this is a serious comment but I tend to agree with it. Eddy Johnson was a major cancer, from what I have heard, but Golden did what he could to keep him on the team. The only guys who didn't get multiple chances were involved with things like sexual assault and theft. The story doesn't add up.

For those who have managed people before, sometimes you get to the point where enough is enough and they have to be let go. In my experience it is much easier to let someone hang around and try to manage their behavior than to make the hard decision to boot someone with talent. I doubt this decision was made lightly.

I don't like Al as a tactician but I think he has a good management style (with the exception of being overly loyal to certain coaches).

Yea I will reserve judgement until the facts come out as everyone else should be doing. There is no need to sell out until we hear what happened....

In the wake of UM's dismissal of offensive tackle Taylor Gadbois, here are a couple of things we've heard from people involved:

### Gadbois, as we've written, was in line to be suspended for several games. Associates of Gadbois were told that his issue stemmed from using a substance to expedite his recovery from a knee injury.

As of a couple of weeks ago, his suspension for that was under review, according to someone with direct knowledge.

WQAM host and NBC 6 anchor Adam Kuperstein reported on Twitter that he was definitely going to be suspended until mid-October.

### The suspension, however, is not the primary reason he was booted from the team. We were told that UM coaches didn't believe he fit into the team culture, that he was a pain in the butt at times, so to speak.

He has had run-ins with teammates in the past and had a reputation for being boastful, which was evident two weeks ago when he told The Palm Beach Post's Matt Porter that he's the best offensive lineman on the team.

One UM person has likened him in the past to Richie Incognito in terms of personality, though we emphasize that there is NO indication that Gadbois bullied teammates like Incognito did.

Kuperstein said Gadbois upset coaches during a military-style training session Wednesday.

Gadbois, reached today by the Post's Porter, told him that UM "didn’t feel I was being positive enough with the team, with the young guys, which I completely disagree with. I mean, I work with these guys every single day. I’m in a group text with the team and everybody’s just bewildered by it. Everybody’s just blown away.”

Gadbois this week participated in UM's three-day conditioning event with included Marine-style training. He told Porter that he was called into Golden's office on Thursday and told he was off the team.

"He just basically said, 'We're parting ways,'" Gadbois told Porter. "I said, 'What?" I started [expletive] crying, man. I didn't want to leave. This has been my dream school since I was 4 years old. I was in my last semester and they wouldn't let me finish school or nothing. With the scholarship, I can't afford school. This is where I want to be. I dunno. I don't know what to do now."

Gadbois started four games last season. Without him, Kc McDermott and Trevor Darling are strong candidates to start at the two tackle positions, with newcomers Jahair Jones and Tyree St. Louis among others competing for playing time.

I think Al secretly devises plans to tear this program down to the ground. Someone please tell me what TG could have done to be dismissed.
Rumored PED situation I believe that may have been the reason for that suspension

He was cleared of that because he had a prescription. He must've forgot to take his continuing education credits for pillars and core values.

#BRINGBACKBUTCH

This is not true. Gadbois was originally suspended because he took deer antler spray. I am not sure why he got kicked off today

this kid might be a loose cannon. who knows. i like him but apparently these coaches dont. we arent there. its easy to talk from outside.
I want butch back desperately but if u think golden wouldnt have kept eddie johnson and Gionni paul, you are crazy. AQM he fought his *** off for which is why AQM stayed because he felt loyal
