TAC x Patke Interaction

True, but if you re-read OP post, it does not sound like it went down like that. TAC came out, saw his pops, they were talking and OP assumed they were upset, it was just father and son talk, then Patke came out and pulled dad to the side to talk, likely to try and calm him down, and pops went off on Patke.

Who knows what was said, maybe pops is just animated when he speaks, but it didn't sound like pops sought after Patke, but that Patke came to him. If Patke told him some BS, or lied, then dad's reaction was likely genuine. Let's see if he starts to get snaps this week or if he is like brooks and is just M.I.A.
Idk....I feel like have some self-control....only thing that could even halfway justify pops going off "PUBLICLY" on Patke is if Patke went off on him first which didn't happen.

As a father, like set a good example for your son, even if it's a tense moment.....wasn't a life or death situation so Pops could've easily said, "Coach, I'm talking to my son right now, and quite frankly I'm highly agitated that he didn't play today....I would like to request a meeting with you, my son, and Coach Diaz"......boom too easy, he can get his point across at the RIGHT TIME AND RIGHT PLACE...

Man all that you typed don’t mean ****. There’s been plenty of 1st and 2nd year players that have seen the field with this same staff for one reason or another. TAC hasn’t been one of them. That’s more of an indictment on him. I best Flagg couldn’t keep Justin Flowe off the field. Manny is the same dude who started Shaq and Pinckney as freshman. I want Manny gone like everyone else, but stop with the short sighted bull****. Flagg started LAST year as a freshman. So y’all just have a problem with WHICH “babies” he’s putting in the field?
Shaq and Pinckney were Manny Diaz's guys. He had no prior relationship with the players that were existing on the roster. Everyone had a clean slate.

And I seriously doubt you want Manny gone. Flagg also hasn't really performed well either, while the other players that have had to wait like Kitchens, Williams and LT found their way onto the field through injury and have shined.

The question to ask is - does Flagg warrant the playing time he's getting? The answer is no.

Parents and their kids man, who knows. Not doubting OP but when he said TAC "looked like a kid who is gone" like wtf does that even mean? He could not hear a word anyone was saying but could confirm he was "going off" Just too many variables to speculate.

The one thing I know, barring injury, kid should get some snaps. Say he goes in and gets roasted on a play, LB play all year has been suspect, no one likely faults Manny for making a change. But by keeping him from even seeing a snap? Everyone is going to want the new thing after our current LB have been struggling.

I mentioned it in another thread recently, but if you do a search of the word "Jesus" by @Confidence1000, you'll quickly realize it's like half his posts, lol.

I use Jesus Christ! at times to convey frustration here. ... I'd say By Jove, but that sounds corny, or by Allah but after Rushdie and Charlie Hebdo I don't care to have some imam issue a death fatwa against me.

Lol..man I like tac coming in. But he is a 2nd year fresh. He wasn’t some extremely talented prospect..so the fact that he is the 2021 Greentree AA..lord help us. This is a non issue. Guys we are not hiding the next Devin white on the 3rd team

Completely agree. For what it's worth, Ragone actually did his job and played well (even if he's not a real Miami athlete).

Plus, it was a divisional game. You don't want to put in a 2nd year freshman at that point because we were one blown assignment from losing that game.

By the Buddah seems like a safe middle path to take.

All i know is theybetter not have Flagg shadowing Travis(fsu) or Simms this week...

Your setting the kid up for failure...find a way to get some speed in for that purpose.

That can actually cost us the game because thats the ONLY thing Travis can do.
That's the only way GT or FSU can beat us.

We're gonna sell out and stop the run. Gibbs is really good and Simms is dangerous.

Would not be shocked at all if we sell out on the run and they resort to throwing it and Simms makes improv plays with his legs and does some damage. Same can be said for Travis. Very similar game the next 2 weeks. Playing at Doak could be a tough atmosphere for TVD if they show up. He hasn't been in that situation yet.

But Flagg's a 2nd year FR. And he's not playing good at all.

Not saying TAC is going to be Ray Lewis. But considering LB play this year, he has a legit gripe.

The fact that is the talk after a road win😂
