(Swamp Kings) Imagine Being Such a Lying Psychopath...

These Netflix sports "documentaries" are absolute jokes. Between the Gata, Johnny Manziel, even The Last Dance, all you get are puff pieces and vanity projects masquerading as documentaries, spearheaded and often funded by the subjects themselves. There's an upcoming one about Jerry Jones, and the size of that manure pile will rival that of AT&T Stadium.

If it doesn’t include a candid interview with Jimmy Johnson then it’ll be trash.

The Manziel one as awesome.

Here's something else I don't understand.

Where is this magical "turnaround". I'm no fan of Ron Zook, but he didn't exactly leave the cupboard bare. He had some good teams that did well in the SEC East, but he had the misfortune to play Miami and F$U each year for all three years (and they lost 5 of those 6).

Then you compare everything to Urban Meyer and...well, let's be honest for HALF of Urban's tenure (3 out of 6 years) his records weren't anything different from Zook's. I would never take anything away from his three ONE-LOSS teams, they were pretty good teams, but let's not pretend that Urban had a lot to turn around, or that he turned things around permanently.

More mythbuilding. Very good coach, very good results, but let's not pretend that glowing documentaries should be made that IGNORE the big picture and all the negatives that arose.

urban was very strategic in his HC moves, all 3 schools he HC'd at the talent level was very good Bowling Green, Utah the the Gayturds....... finally it caught up with him last couple of years at OSU then the disaster at Jax. what a dirt bag

Thank you for saying it.

Urban picked The Gaytor over his PERSONAL FAVORITE CHOICE (Notre Dame), because The Gaytor had "state of Florida recruiting" and were slightly easier to "turn around" at that particular time.

He’s very Phil Jackson-esque… he can take a team that’s talented but severely under performs and make them win one way or another.

Not super high on him but I recognize where he’s good at. If he coached our team last year we win 8 games at minimum. We’d be covered in mud and slime but we would’ve beat some ***. 🐾🐾🐾

....that in the midst of a 4 hour piece of propaganda designed to whitewash a criminal enterprise that you were titular head of.....that you STILL feel compelled to:

- make up a story about telling a childhood coach that "Winning is the ONLY thing".

- play a 15+ year post-facto lie-based race card about a murderer being justified in a physical assault of a service industry worker because incessant racial slurs were being hurled at him (they were not)

Who DOES that?! Only a sick sick puppy.

Carry on. I'm off to sue Netflix for wasting my time. Everyone associated should be ashamed.
Um Sir, this is the Pharmacy at Publix.

Thanks, I didn't have a clue. Guess I'll miss it unless there's nothing else on.

Unbiased, is it worth checking out though?
It’s not terrible but knowing what it turned into they don’t talk about the rampant criminality nearly enough.

I started to watch it then I realized quickly what was going on was just the turds trying to get some free advertising (like people assumed we were with the 30 for 30s)when that lil bald trash can Paul finebum came on the screen and said all throughout the 90s all the turds did was win championships... Where the **** was I when they were playing in all these championships let alone winning them. Apparently Spurrier dominated the 90s. That wasn't us. Glad to know I've been confused.

The thing is, you could have a real documentary, just looking into the cover-up that was conducted by the powers that be for Aaron Hernandez committing an attempted murder in the middle of a Gainesville street. Now that would be a real barn burner.

Let alone the one he did commit while he was there. Yet the narrative was never made about these Gainesville thugs. Save that for us.

Also Notre Dame wouldn’t have accepted like 90% of the kids he took at UiF

Though I think that’s what you already meant as part of that
