Strength Program - Excess Fat

The "Felder is an elite strength coach" brigade is just as bad as the "Richt is a good OC" brigade.

They downvote you, call you a cuck, say we're 6-0, etc. I don't think Felder is bad but we're not conditioned as well as we should be.

i'm more concerned about a potential repeat of the rash of acl injuries at uga.

Our OL is average. Nothing to do with Felder

Tbh I'm not the biggest fielder fan either. I don't know if it actually him or the talent, but all I know is when we need to get a yard or 2 we get no push on the OL. We also don't get much push on the D-line when it 3rd and short either. I just feel like our team isn't stronger physically in the trenches when they absolutely have to and this is happening vs Toledo, Syracuse, Duke etc which is concerning. We also struggle with tackling and bringing down ball carriers which is also part of being a strong and physical team. I'm pretty sure 2 years into our new S&C program Redwine who is 6'2 195 is getting trucked by a true freshman RB straight out of HS playing his 4th collegiate game. I think we need to increase our strength training so players can make those tough yardage plays and "impose our will" especially against inferior fronts which we aren't doing. Want to know why everyone is frustrated with Richt play calling? because when it time to push the other team at the goal line or for a yard or 2 to keep the drive alive we get knocked backwards even against the Syracuses of the world. (It also doesn't help that Gus is a Penn State dude considering who the last 2 Penn State dudes who were fattening up our players as if Fat = Strength while they were here with that Joe Pa/Penn State type philosophy in building a stronger player by feeding them twinkle). I wish we took a Wisconsin S&C staff member. Wisconsin seems to always be one of the most physical teams in the country with a roster littered with 2/3 star players and historically 30-40th in recruit rankings.

This ain't a beauty contest... I've got no problem with it and I don't think they at any slower!

Not saying it's a beauty contest, but it's not a good look imo when these dudes were faster and ripped more in HS than at Miami.

I mean Pinckney's stomach rolls in that video I posted above were looking sloppy af lol

If we wanna win titles we have to have an elite strength program. Those early 2000s teams were built like an NFL team. It's no accident that we annihilated teams physically.

Hopefully we're just another year or two away from being on that level.

You clearly did not see Shaq & Pink flying all over the field like a rocket just got shot off. Nice try.

Personally I'd like to see the entire team really focus on their biceps and calfs. If there is time, their necks/traps too.

Arms like David Boston
Calfs like N. Suh
Neck like Zach Thomas

Endorsed.
Also think some of these players need to hit the tanning beds and oil down before games.

Seriously, why do we let all these wez cucks on this forum.

LOL WhoTF are you???

Conditioning is obviously the problem when we consistently have fourth quarter drives while our opponents are gassed.

I'd definitely be in favor of oiling down. Then it'd be harder to jam our WRs

Dead poets, nystate and chosen are some of the least knowledgeable worst posters here. The wez is a bunch of fegs. A circle jerk with 3 these as the pivot men.

Dead poets is the only regular WEZZIE. The other 2 are a staple of the CiS community.

What about the WEZ makes you so emotional?

Actually, he might have helped. Average has been a marked improvement.

I don't care about the WEZ. the 3 I mentioned and ariand guy are just clueless, devoid of any football acumen.

Our d played over 90 plays last week , been well conditioned in every fourth quarter? But we're hoping Felder.

I swear some of y'all are horrible

We held up vs 93 offensive plays last week in 85+ degree temperatures you ******* RETARDS!!!!! You CANNOT be in better shape. Not possible.

It called STRENGTH and CONDITIONING. I see GREAT conditioning just not enough strength. All I'm saying.

We've left literally hundreds of points on the field through six games thanks to poor offensive execution. At the end of the day, that falls on the offensive coordinator.

If we had punched in a majority of our scoring chances in the red zone, we'd be a Top 10 offense, not a Top 25.

Off the Orange and Green tangent. But WHY the INFATUATION with Suzzy Q? hUh. Seriously, Empire state Cane.

And did U ever see Whisky's offensive linemen? NONE of Whiskey's linemen have a ' big fat gut ' hanging over their jersey belt buckle! hUh.
