lanes a better football mind than mario in my opinion

dudes an offensive guru that just needs a semi competent defensive coordinator. Even without one we'll be averaging 40+ points a game and in the ACC championship EVERY season.

I just don't see such a guarantee with mario, a guy that is beating up on lousy pac 10 teams with zero competition out there. He went in and beat ohio state, which is nice but that's not urban meyer's OSU any more.

Even top flight offenses need a good to great complimentary defense to bail them out on days when it’s just not working, for whatever reason. I like Kiffin, but I’d make him hire a very competent DC before hiring him.

Heard from Holsum’s interview w/ Mark Roger’s podcast that next announcement will be Zo as head of football operations or some comparable title. Pointed to the fact he has been to several of our past games on the sidelines talking to players and talking to fans as well.

Lane's leaving. Personally I think he's the favorite now. But if he stayed at Ole Miss, even losing the star QB and 17 starters, he probably would've just gotten one of the best transfer QB's available. It's a different game now.
