The game will be postponed. No way they risk it.
Again, why do people do this?

IMO the way this game gets cancelled is if FSU cant fly out.
they scared of the hurricanes
For the record, I don't think the storm is going to impact the game. I just think the powers that be will overreact and postpone it and we will be sitting here Saturday under sunny skies. I hope they wait until Thursday to make a decision.

This is true. I think their only options are to either fly to Naples Thursday and then bus it to Miami Friday or Saturday. Or fly down on Sat morning. No clue if they'd be able to fly down on a Sat though if Tally gets hit hard the day before.
Canceling the game has got to be last case scenario given the scheduling nightmare it'd cause both teams and the ACC.

Why wouldn't they just cancel the game altogether? Is there an ACC rule that prohibits teams from winning the division if they play less than 8 conf games?
The last thing i want is to postpone this game and force our team to play some ridiculous Tue game sandwiched between two Saturdays...we have no more bye weeks left.
This is exactly what should happen. But bureaucrats are prone to being panicky punks and cancelling **** before it needs to be canceled. The only way the game is cancelled is if it makes landfall directly on SFLA. And because that day will come Thursday, that's when a decision should come. A cancellation before then is premature and foolishly over cautious.
I'd love to know what controls this decision if the universities disagree. I presume that the ACC would decide.

The 11 pm advisory now has a hurricane warning, not a watch, for south Florida.

This was likely expected. No way a storm gets that close and you only get a "Hurricane Watch".
Also, this thing is now off the coast of south Florida at 8 pm Thursday, not 2 pm Thursday. That is also a GameChanger.
