Also, this thing is now off the coast of south Florida at 8 pm Thursday, not 2 pm Thursday. That is also a GameChanger.
It's definitely speeding up if you compare the 8 p.m. vs. the 11 p.m. The 8 p.m. ETA has shifted north for both Thursday 8 p.m. and Friday 8 p.m. Lets hope it continues to speed up over night.
Virtually nothing has changed since 8PM. The hurricane warning was inevitable for areas within the "cone", they just wait until it's 48 hours out. Are you guys new to this?
You guys know where Tallahassee and Miami Gardens are, right? And the storm is not expected to significantly affect either city, as currently projected. So if it stays the course, there won't be a single, literal concern for safety (no debris, no structural concerns) because the city will not have been hit. We're talking tropical force winds, maybe Cat 1...two days before the game. That's nothing. This all depends on where and if it makes landfall, IMO.
My biggest concern for now is FSU's travel plans.
Like recruiting, this **** is fluid, so stay tuned!
