State of Emergency-NOAA Link in OP

I would be concerned if I was flying in Thursday or possibly Friday. The conditions might cause them to cancel incoming flights (at least on Thursday). Most of the computer models have the storm skirting up the east coast with no direct hit in south Florida. If the center stays reasonably far off shore, the outer bands will probably still hit us. However, we're talking about tropical storm force winds versus category 3 or 4 winds closer to the center. For anybody who's not from the area and hasn't dealt with storms, tropical storm force winds are around 45 mph and are nothing to be concerned about. There may be an occasional broken tree limb or power line but nothing of significance. Now, if the center part of the storm were to make landfall (none of the major models predicts this) then, you should be worried. You'd be looking at 100+ mph winds and probably some serious damage. In which case, the game would almost certainly be cancelled.

06Z GFS run has shifted east a bit. Hope the trend continues!

Why single that one out? There are dozens.

Yea, seriously, why be positive.

Who the fūck asked you? It was actually a serious question about why that particular model. As in, did the poster have some knowledge that made that model more believable than the others. Are you always this feeble-minded that you can't comprehend a simple question?

Lmao holy **** buddy take a xanax

There are a lot, but there are a handful of "big" ones that tend to be the most reliable. GFS is one of those. In general, the top 2 are the GFS and the euro (ECMWF).

So according to the GFS this thing will be well EAST of Miami when it passes - looks like at least 150 to 200 miles. Sounds good to me, hope this is the right model

Driving in from Orlando is going to be such a ****ing *****. The turnpike is going to be all sorts of ****ed.

Go west and ride the coast down. It will probably take the same amount of time when you account the speed of the car in rain. Thats what some of my buddies are doing that are coming from UCF and FSU.

While it's not a terrible idea 350 some miles is certainly not 230 miles.

Though if worst comes to worst I'll ******* swim to the game. I'm not missing it for the world.

Latest look I think lets them play. My guess is they push back any decision to as late in the day tomorrow as they can.

PANIC

It also picked up a bit of speed. Should be a total non-factor by Saturday since it'll be near Virginia by kickoff.

Trop Storm has just been put into effect for Miami. If things stay like this we're good.

Everything North of Palm Beach though has a hurricane watch for Thursday night and Friday morning.

FSU should get their *** here tomorrow.
