Speedster Schwartz talks relationship with Rumph

But but but Rumph can't recruit...

Kid hasn't signed yet dodo brain. The criticism of Rumph and Brown have been justified with the first 2 classes. Can they make up for it? Sure. But as it stands they aren't pulling their weight on the trail.

Please enlighten us how it was justified? I'll hang up and not listen...

Peter Ariz where does this kid fit in on the totem pole? Is he a take for UM with Pope, Williams, Wiggins, Thompson, Austin, Moore, Hightower and Harris on the board?

Schwartz is an automatic take. You want to be the real Miami you bring that speed that gives teams nightmares that's what separated us in ways nobody could touch and this kid could take it to another level

hes not good at it. Thats a fact. He's learning on the job which is good. I want to know what credit for him being in the door with a kid hes coached since he was 10?. This is the group he brought to heritage from west pines..Him, Marco Wilson, Tyson Campbell etc. But lets see if he learned from his mistakes. Yall giving credit on stuff that really had no bearing...is like Golden/Shannon getting credit for Duke Johnson

But he'll get killed for everyone he doesn't land though. Can't have it both ways

I'd be surprised if he ends up here.

Why not? Where do you think he does end up?

An elite track program. The young man is blazing fast and those PR's suggest that's where his future is.

I would love, absolutely love to add that kind of speed (he's a take all day long because of that alone even if he's not the best football prospect) to the team.

What mistakes? You tell a recruit everything they want to hear and they still dont come, that means they dont want to come to your school.

Speed like this you can't teach. Idc If we bring him in as a punter- this kid can change the game with one touch. If his career is like Kermit Whitfield- one lightning in a bottle play in the biggest game then that will be so worth it.

That's not a fact, that's an opinion. What mistakes? You didn't give one valid reason why he is not good recruiter. Not one! Read the articles that Pete and Erick post. Player after player praise him during their recruiting process. ****, even Pete vouches for him. But no, the Heritage kids aren't enough. So you choose to crucify him because of what happened to CJ and Edwards. As if it is his fault or a reflection on his recruiting skills. Such ignorance and stupidity.

Like Schwarz and would take him...Like Gammage and Austin better though. Gonna be interesting who gets left out, especially if XWill wants in. Haven't even mentioned W. Thompson. Think Hightower and Copeland end up elsewhere.

its justified when he strikes out on almost everyone on the board. Thank god Dean was basically handed to us or we'd be in some deep ****.

ive been on him before cj and Edwards. You must think its a good thing to have to go after Graduate transfer corners every year. Im not gonna list the mistakes currently but theyve been laid out on the board.

You rookies got a hard on, cause ha dude has interest in um in Freaking feburary. Dude himself admitted to his defeat in just the last class. He's learning on the job, not above criticism. Im not guessing on him...like yall are. I dont got to read articles Pete or Eric post....he's gotten praise after praise as well while kids have signed elsewhere. Again will watch him throughout THIS class...the first two cycles he's treading water in the recruiting department.

great post, not sure how people can't see it this way.

Right now, Rumph is doing one half of half a job (although there are some who would even debate that he has done a great job coaching the CBs, but we´ll assume he´s doing great there) . Because he isn´t experienced enough to be a DB coach, we have one for CBs and one for safeties. That´s half a job right there. And he has proven to be a failure thus far at the other half, recruiting.

Again, if he´s doing a bang up job of coaching our CBs, that is a quarter of what, for instance, Corey Raymond is doing at LSU.

I can´t believe we are in a dog fight with Clempson for Ty Campbell. We should be overwhelming favorites for that kid at least.

Rumph was hired literally a week and several days before signing day last year... What a horrible recruiting job he did in the week & several days. I agree wholeheartedly... jeezus
