Speedster Schwartz talks relationship with Rumph

Just named a top 2 of UF and AU, visiting UGA today

Was in gville this weekend for their spring game and is visiting again on his way home from UGA Tuesday

Not really a top target for us, hasn't been really. Auburn is a nice school though

Read an article a week or 2 ago where he was talking us up as well as our track team. Actually was from abolverdi and the update sounded more positive for us than for them despite it being for their site

Well he should be.

I mean if we are talking elijah Moore or shwartz for the final spot I'm taking moore all day who is a more complete and polished receiver. He's being recruited but others are ahead of him for the final spot

But but but Rumph can't recruit...

hes not good at it. Thats a fact. He's learning on the job which is good. I want to know what credit for him being in the door with a kid hes coached since he was 10?. This is the group he brought to heritage from west pines..Him, Marco Wilson, Tyson Campbell etc. But lets see if he learned from his mistakes. Yall giving credit on stuff that really had no bearing...is like Golden/Shannon getting credit for Duke Johnson

You make great points...I'd like to add that it's hard to recruit kids when you were their high school HC and ****ted all over the University you're currently working for.

Are you insinuating these kids are too stupid to know the difference between Al Golden & Mark Richt?

You guys wish it was that easy don't you. SMFH.

I agree. If we had a new head coach, beat a ranked team, started putting money into facilities, and finally won a bowl game, maybe kids could see a difference. That's a lot to ask for though.

Top247 CB Tyson Campbell with a 10.78 in the 100m. Anthony Schwartz clocks a 10.92.

Campbell though.... :sanford: :U5PyXda:

Was prelim. Schwartz will much run faster in the finals. Did the classic just run fast enough and secure spot while not wasting energy.

No idea if this is the case or not, but does a 17 year old kid really need to preserve energy? Like does putting it in 4th gear instead of 5th really make a difference? Why not destroy everyone every time he is racing at this level?

Because Prelims don't matter as long as you have a qualifying time you advance and will need to run again.

Going at 100% also increases his risk of injury. ****, Bolt has been known to pull up before the line in the finals. WTF does it matter!

Yea it makes a difference. Simple way of breaking it down would be going to the gym and trying to rep your max of every machine as opposed to doing 50% less and having a more pro longed workout.

I've decided that there is no way I'd want Elijah Moore over Schwartz. We already have Jeff Thomas and Mike Harley. But Schwartz will be the fastest guy in football.

Guessing the 16yo runs a 4.20-4.25 right now. Before he gets to college he could be the fastest player at any level. I just don't think he plays college ball.

lol some of y'all act like Schwartz is true first high school kid to run this fast in hs or super fast on hs standards and not consider turning pro or whatever.
