We should be a one loss team, at worst, based on assumed talent lol. Oh well. It is what it is.That is kind of where I fall on it. Especially since I know (hope) we are more talented than FIU, CMU, LT, a GT team built for the triple option, and probably Duke as well.
Why is it always, “we have bigger problems...” We have attention deficit disorder and can only focus on Enos
Patke and Banda might not be the worst (up for debate) but they are bad just the same. Global issue needs a global solution.
Best coach on our staff, needs help recruiting but far from our biggest problems
I’m not a fan of Rumph. He can’t recruit for ****.
But if he takes the fall while the rest of Manny’s buddies get to keep stealing paychecks, it’s just another example of how completely ***ked we are.
No one worth a **** is going to join this dysfunctional staph
awful recruiter. good teacher of fundamentals. meh personality in dealing with people.
was hampered by not having total control over all DB's as most coaches of the secondary do.
having banda the bumbling bartender has probably done more harm to Rumph (and the secondary) than anything else.
No question, and its not even close
Raymond DCCorey Raymond
Please lord give Diaz the brains to hire
Corey Raymond
So I work for western and rumph came to recruit 2 players. I can tell you people at the school think rumph is an absolute joke based on how he acted recruiting them.
Probably Rumph, Barry, and Enos.better to ask @dsddcane. He said 3 so is this one of the three you were expecting?
After another disappointing loss for the Miami Hurricanes, it seems head coach Manny Diaz's staff could be getting quite the makeover during the offseason.
Multiple program sources have told CanesInSight that Hurricanes' cornerbacks coach Mike Rumph is not expected to be retained on Diaz's staff going into 2020.
This news follows a report yesterday from the AP's Tim Reynolds that offensive coordinator and QB coach Dan Enos is also not expected back on staff next season.
The Canes finished an underwhelming 2019 season on Thursday amid a ton of questions about the future of the program. After being shut out by Louisiana Tech 14-0 in the Independence Bowl and ending the year at 6-7, Athletic Director Blake James released a statement late last night on his Twitter account backing Diaz, adding that he expects changes to be made within the program.
"Manny Diaz is the right leader for our program, but clearly changes are necessary and expected," James said. "Manny is in the process of making a full assessment of the football program, including coaches and staff."
As for Rumph, he has spent the last 4 seasons coaching the UM cornerbacks. A member of the Hurricanes’ 2001 national championship team, Rumph returned to his alma mater in 2016 after spending the previous three seasons as the head coach at American Heritage High School.

Probably Rumph, Barry, and Enos.
Score 0 points against LA Tech. Fire the DB coach. Sounds about right.
