Sources: Rumph not expected to be retained on staff

Baker, Patke, Banda still have jobs, Rumph is a better teacher than all of these guys. I am not saying that he should be retained but if they are going to fire people for their lack of recruiting, these guys should go as well.

Also: Does anybody see any advantage is hiring a DBs coach instead of splitting them up? Have Patke coach striker and ST, Stroud DL, someone coach DBs, and if he keeps Baker the DC. Then on offense you could have an extra coach and it appears like they need it. If Manny is a defensive guy he can use his knowledge to help that out like Saban does the DBs at Bama.

Obviously you dont know **** about football, if you think it is that simple and their is a better db coach already on staff, you sir are clueless, lol!

Hopefully Diaz hires a combo staff of great recruiters and coaches. Canes need lots of help!

Lack of 5*s (e.g., the AH boys, the head cases Jobe and Henderson, etc.) are the primary reason people rail about Rumph the recruiter. Would it be nice to have better talent, of course. But if you look at the talent across positions groups, lack of bodies (4*s and 3*s) at CB is not the reason we're where we're at.
 
If I had a choice of Banda and Rumph I'm cutting Rumph. Recruiting is the lifeblood and although Banda himself isn't good at it. Rumph is just a body and is terrible at it. He might as well walk around sfla with a Rutgers logo but since we destroyed our logo it makes sense now.

2 former players both agreeing on something that is commonly known on the board, yet some don't want to believe it.

The coaching joke on defense is Panda. He is a clown and everyone except Manny knows it.
Patke is the worst recruiter on the defensive side.
Combined, Panda and Patke MAY form a full functional coach......but again, Manny can't see the truth.

Just bc someone is decent doesn’t mean they are invincible.

Rumph had 4 years to show something. He showed he can coach a little bit. But he was a disaster in establishing a board, evaluating talent, and recruiting.

Recruiting is the life blood of a program and he couldn’t hack it.
