Something we may see this week

Sims wasn't an elite QB recruit which is really what matters in this argument and he was a low 4-star athlete. Not exactly an elite recruit by any standard.

He was a four-star with offers from Alabama, Georgia and Florida State. He broke Alabama's single-season passing record as a senior. There is no comparison between him and our guys, at least at this point.

That idea of yours probably has something to do with the ledge you've stepped out on and that ranting on Pete's podcast.

You care more about my takes than I do. That's evident by your sad and obsessive posting history, going back years.

"Don't pay attention to DMoney's practice takes, it's all fluff."- fincane

"Can you believe what DMoney said at 23:34 of his latest podcast?!" -fincane

Actually, I shouldn't have said that. Please keep clicking, listening, and obsessing.

If we put Perry under center this season, we are essentially playing for next year, because never in the history of college football have we seen a true freshman QB, in a sophisticated passing attack go gangbusters.

Except for our last one, who led the ACC in passing and passer rating.

That team went 6-7

That team was also coached by Al Golden, and had a terrible defense. To put the win/lose record on Kayaa isn't fair.

Did he have offers to play QBs from those schools? And the same things you're saying about these guys were being said about Sims. You're playing the result.

As far as obsessions it is more that I remember people saying dumb crap. When you say dumb crap it resonates because it usually turns into a long thread.

We lived through Coker, Shannon, Nevin Shapiro, Golden---we have been in the bowels of football **** for 11 years---and now we have found freedom...we finally have a team that legitimately has a shot at #6 , yet you guys want a true freshman under center?? WHAT?!?!?

Give me Evan or Rosier so we can go take what's ours THIS YEAR!

I hope as much as the next canes fan that #6 comes soon but the way you are talking about this year being THE year i hope you are going around betting those long future odds on UM winning the national championship...i've seen some as high as +8500. The way you talk about this year those should be easy bets for you to make.

Richt comments and thinking is as clear as day, he eventually wants nkosi to take over the job whether that be before the first game or during the season. Richt at first said he wanted to name a starter after the second scrimmage or so now he's saying he's not doing that. Also that there is going to be an open competition even if the starter is named through the season. He's staying patient because he's waiting for perry to take the job period..

Yes because everything Rick says revolves around Perry. Keeping an open competition into the season could never have anything to do with the competition between Rosier and Shirreffs right? The competition can't keep going back and forth between those two because all Rick cares about is Perry.

Ironic, this thread turned when you posted and made it personal about D$.

Look at our schedule this year, man! If we walk out of Doak with a "W" we will have as good of shot as any, and a better shot than most to take this thing.

Also, I don't gamble. I am just a pure sports fan.

Kaaya had a good freshman season. But we absolutely have seen it at clemson with Watson his freshman season

Deshaun Watson didn't start the year and didn't win 10 games and got hurt. He also only started 6 games his freshman year. Lets just leave out that Watson was one of the best college QBs of all time. Unless you're predicting Perry will be one of the best college QBs to ever play bringing up Watson is asinine.
I said nothing about Watson starting out the gate as a freshman..... Watson absolute did go off his freshman year with 67.8% 14 touchdowns 2 ints 188.2 rating in a season he was hurt for a chunk of the season

Questioning what he is saying and suggesting he has a bias isn't personal. Saying he was wrong about previous QBs isn't personal. He got upset. Who cares?

I won't lie. I used to respect DMoneys opinion until I heard him yelling about Miami winning the national championship on Petes podcast like he was a member of CanesHam and the Blue Lot Boys.

Some posters around here want to be in the "club" so bad that they think disproving or going at one of the most solid posters will earn them that.

Lots of jelly around here....

We have no QB right now. Could be a rough year on offense.

Richt has stated he's confident in all 4, watch his interview

What's he supposed to say. None of my QBs are ready to lead this team to the ACC championship? Take off your orange and green glasses. We are in a bad spot at QB.

No we aren't, we are significantly more talented than every team we play outside of fsu and we have a top 10 defense with a weak schedule and EVERY contender in the coastal having to break in new starters on offense and or defense. Step off the ledge

I hear ya. The schedule sets up very favorably..just think we are a year or two away from taking back the college football world. I hope you are right about this year though!
