Something positive- Our RB Duo

There's not much to be happy about right now, but I don't think enough attention is being paid to our RB duo. They are championship-caliber talents with big-play ability and toughness.

I compared them to the best three duos in the nation, and they are right there. It is even more impressive when you consider the massive differences in terms of OL quality and passing game support:

Najee Harris/Damien Harris (Alabama)- 1,114 yards, 6.5 ypc
Elijah Holyfield/DeAndre Swift (Georgia)- 1,296 yards, 6.4 ypc
Travis Homer/DeeJay Dallas (Miami)- 1,249 yards, 5.9 ypc
J.K. Dobbins/Mike Weber (OSU)- 1,291 yards, 5.2 ypc

Imagine what these guys could do in an effective offense.
That duel behind any of the three Ol's you mentioned!!!!

Portis was twice the RB than them...
What does that mean. Portis was definitely better but fumbled 3 times in one game, ur just proving my point. I bet the same thing was going on in some people head about hes not a miami caliber back when he did have the bad game.

It's not fair as DMoney's points are completely valid but the first thing I thought of when reading this was DeeJay fumbling 62 times last game.

Ughhhh, how these dark days will pollute your effing thought process.

Instead of imagining it, how about we fire the Richts and bring someone in who can actually run an effective offense?

I like both backs but I still disagree with the lack of touches for Lingard before injury, we should’ve been getting him at least 3-5 touches per game because he brings a level of speed that these 2 just don’t possess.

Watch how the idiot fans cling to DeeJay being a fumble machine for the next two years based on the Puke game in a monsoon.

This. Those stats are BS.

They are pretty good backs not great.
Bama plays a way harder sched....if they played our sched they would have 7000 yards rushing already. Uga as well.

We get one big long run then the rest is ****.....we have the quietest duo in cfb.

Why come to UM? Where the fans dont even like the players that do play well but they dont even show up to most games.

Bama just had their first game of the season. Not saying they aren't really **** good but they have a weak schedule as well
