I knew we had a problem when we couldn't blow Savannah state off of the line of scrimmage. Rbs just making something out of nothing.
That duel behind any of the three Ol's you mentioned!!!!There's not much to be happy about right now, but I don't think enough attention is being paid to our RB duo. They are championship-caliber talents with big-play ability and toughness.
I compared them to the best three duos in the nation, and they are right there. It is even more impressive when you consider the massive differences in terms of OL quality and passing game support:
Najee Harris/Damien Harris (Alabama)- 1,114 yards, 6.5 ypc
Elijah Holyfield/DeAndre Swift (Georgia)- 1,296 yards, 6.4 ypc
Travis Homer/DeeJay Dallas (Miami)- 1,249 yards, 5.9 ypc
J.K. Dobbins/Mike Weber (OSU)- 1,291 yards, 5.2 ypc
Imagine what these guys could do in an effective offense.
What does that mean. Portis was definitely better but fumbled 3 times in one game, ur just proving my point. I bet the same thing was going on in some people head about hes not a miami caliber back when he did have the bad game.Portis was twice the RB than them...
Hence the name Loose Cannon...
They are pretty good but not perfect

Now put here yards rushing numbers against what teams.
The running game isn’t really there. But the RB talent is.The defense is there. The running game is there. The receivers can catch the ball, run and have shown the ability to block downfield.
Its the coaching and the QB play. And one name is attached to both of those areas.

I like both backs but I still disagree with the lack of touches for Lingard before injury, we should’ve been getting him at least 3-5 touches per game because he brings a level of speed that these 2 just don’t possess.

Watch how the idiot fans cling to DeeJay being a fumble machine for the next two years based on the Puke game in a monsoon.
This. Those stats are BS.Now put here yards rushing numbers against what teams.
Bama plays a way harder sched....if they played our sched they would have 7000 yards rushing already. Uga as well.This. Those stats are BS.
They are pretty good backs not great.
yesTheres been worse?
Bama just had their first game of the season. Not saying they aren't really **** good but they have a weak schedule as wellBama plays a way harder sched....if they played our sched they would have 7000 yards rushing already. Uga as well.
We get one big long run then the rest is ****.....we have the quietest duo in cfb.
