I think the Dixon recruitment will end just like jermaine grace last year kid knew where he wanted to go so did staff just wanted to take his visits

Lol...not even close.

Grace was a lock from his jr year..grace didn't grow up a gator fan..with family members that played for uf. In the spring...dixon named uf his fav school..the spring.
We closed ground like a mug on him though?...and gotta be in his top two till the end...but jermaine grace was a silent. **** he gave aqm his commitment hat.
Dixon misses our biggest home game to strategically go to bum *** raleigh with his teammates..thank u mr daniels for directing your kids away from a sold out miami game beating of youruf team to go to raleigh to watch them scrubs from nc state

I knew I shouldn't have gotten invested in a kid from Dwyer's recruitment. Daniels has no love for the U. He'd rather see Dixon freeze his *** off in Columbus than put on for the U.

I doubt Daniels is the issue with UF. He was very vocal when Gerald Christian and Clark transferred. And Elam had a lot to say about the Driskel-Brissett situation too. As recent as last year he was saying he'd have a tough time sending a player to UF. So if Dixon doesn't go to Miami it won't have **** to do with Daniels IMO.

He's not saying UiF is an issue with Dixon, he's saying Daniels is.

I agree with you though that the Dwyer/Daniels thing is a myth at this point, but it still isn't a UM friendly situation. And yeah, if we were his leader like he said we were, you would think he would have attended our game instead of going to NCST.

Lot of writing on the wall when you look at the whole situation. Too much for me to expect Dixon in this class anyway.

Didn't Randy sort of alienate Dwyer when he was there? I think that's the biggest issue with Dwyer in relation to Miami. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Daniels would prefer his best players go to UF being an alum, but he's sent players to Tennesee, UGA, etc. all schools who are rivals of UF. I don't think he'd have an issue with sending a kid to Miami or would try to push a kid away from Miami.

But yea, if he doesn't visit Miami then he probably isn't coming. People at UF have been hearing about Dixon for a while. When UF was one of his top schools earlier the word was that if Meyer was there he would have already committed. So it wouldn't surprise me if he's a Buckeye. Honestly if they weren't so far away he'd probably already be there.

I have long thought Cook would go elsewhere, but the UF people I talk to are feeling more confident.

If he early enrolls, it wouldn't shock me if he starts at UF next year. We have Brown who is a JAG and has already been passed up be a freshman, Jones who is average and will nwo be rehabilitating a knee, Showers who just moved to tailback from DB in the fall, Lane who is redshirting, and a walk-on. The only competition he'll have is Kelvin Taylor and they are two completely different type of backs, so he'd have a role regardless.

Will they use him right? I ask because if you're struggling at wr and qb like you guys do then I wonder why dont you try to pass the ball to the rb out of the backfield? I don't remember seeing a screen pass or a basic way to get the ball to the rb in the open field since Rainey and Demps

I wonder how the UF coaches sell these guys on their offense.

"I know we have sucked on offense since 2009. I know nearly every offensive recruit has underachieved here. I know our current OC doesn't know how to use our weapons but when you get here we will figure it out."

How about, the current players are lacking and we need you to be a difference maker?

I don't get your line of reasoning...it's silly. Are you arguing that if a particular unit for a team struggles no recruit should go there to play on that unit? If that's the case, no defensive recruit should have committed to Miami last year, afterall, the defense was bad and D'Onofrio hadn't really proven anything at Miami yet. "I know our defense was 100+ last year and some of our defensive recruits didn't look all that great, but when you get here we'll figure it out." See how silly that reasoning is? No, there was an opportunity there for some guys to make a difference and they took that challenge, same scenario at UF. And the current offensive staff has only been there since 12'. This is their 2nd year and most of their offensive recruits aren't even playing yet.

Not excusing them, because the offense sucks and I have my doubts. Just saying, what has transpired since 09' has nothing to do with this offensive staff.

Relax it was a joke.

That said it has been 4 straight years of ineptitude with 4 and 5* recruits, 3 years under the current HC (94th, 104th, 105th). 3 years isn't an anomaly, its starting to be a trend. I can't imagine watching Pease's offense could excite any recruit. And unlike Miami's defense last year this is a Gator offense with a lot of upperclassman.
