The idea that Lebron at 6'8 260 couldn't dominate against the Bad Boy Pistons is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on this board. At his size, he would still be the fastest man on the court baseline to baseline including Isaiah. The only guy who could match his strength would be Mahorn. I know nostalgia is a powerful emotion but come on.
There's a difference between size and toughness. Lebron dives into the paint with a giant physical advantage every time and if someone even breaths on him he flails like worm that just had some kid poor salt on him . In the 90's he'd have a forearm to ribs or teeth on every drive. That little ***** iso basketball and beg for a foul game didn't fly. NBA team were built like hockey teams. There were always 2-3 goons ready to go to war.

You're tripping balls friend. Eddie Jones is a better Wiggins in this league. All those names eat in this Fiba league. There's a reason Euros washed out back in the day and now they're dominating. It's a even softer Fiba.
You said Wiggins? Wiggins has essentially been a bust until this year where he has been respectable but still a bust considering he went #1. I would agree Eddie Jones was a better player but he could not touch Wiggins athletically. Either way the statement was that Eddie could average 28, the Canadian Flyer averages 18.

Kobe ripped his entire game off Mike. The game is like anything else , it stays evolving. Players can learn from previous players and history. Like KD implementing a lot of Dirks stuff and even Nash.

He would adapt. For the record Mike is the GOAT so let’s get that out of the way. Also, the game today at least offensively is way more advanced than that physical 90s ball. The league took a step back after the golden era in the 80s which focused on what the game has always been about. Scoring and offense.

He's an All star this year . He's been a good player on an awful franchise, they put that crap franchise in his back and said take us lol.

Jordan and Pippen were the best 2 wing defenders that decade. Kobe at 19 with his skill set of the bench shredded them. Lebron's weight was more than any center of the 92 dream team. With his size, strength, speed, passing ability he would jave been a force. And with the tougher hand check rules? Imagine having to be hand checked by a 6'8 guy thatweighs more than Pat Ewing but can lock down Drose with his speed.

A byproduct of the new rules that allow that nonsese. There was an incentive for many years to flop and get extra calls. Not in the 90s.

Kerr and that system will do that. They turned Javell into a respectable player after he was a joke his entire career.

Not really sure if Euros washed out back then...the two best European players of that era (Petrovic and Sabonis) were not able to have complete NBA careers like their American peers
Euros washed out at a very high rate to the point it got taboo to draft them. Because of the physicality and hand checking. They were considered soft. There was exceptions like Divac, Petro, Sabonis and a few others.

Ok? Just you write a pragraph trying to explain your meaning doesn’t change anything.

Is it getting to the point where we don’t even care who the coordinators are, as long as they’re a warm body not named Ponce or Al golden? Lol
